The original Dead Rising was released in 2006 and gave gamers a first glimpse at what the then newly released Xbox 360 could power, with its waves of zombies enthralling gamers who gorged on its survival horror tendencies. Capcom have announced that the second in the series, Dead Rising 2 - now boasting an on-screen undead count of 6,000 – is set for a European release of October 1st 2010 after a whole bout of delays. The sequel is set in the gambling paradise metropolis of Fortune City, all glimmering lights and extraordinary sights. Players will try to survive the 72 hours of rip-roaring, zombiefied action with new character Chuck Greene, also adding an impressive system to dispatch the walking dead in an unprecedented array of ways.
