Raving Rabbids Travel In Time Details Announced

June 30th, 2010 by

The Rabbids have now enjoyed over 8 million units sold in a quest for party-fun, gaming recognition. The latest game, Raving Rabbids Travel in Time is in development at the Paris branch of Ubisoft development and was recently announced at this years E3 in LA. Since revealing further details, here’s what we know about the latest adventure…

Travel in Time is a return to hectic multiplayer party action for the Rabbids, as they are whisked through time in a washing machine, only to re-emerge at major historical events in the past. Players will experience the first landing on the moon, amongst such important moments in time as the discovery of fire, only to decide on whether the course of history should be changed. The game will feature over 20 different games, with fundamental changes to game play ensuring the play is kept fresh, whilst split screen or online play for up to 4 players should keep things competitive for all involved. Players will also have the chance to share top scores online with their friends, comparing leader boards and trophies with others.

Yes, it’s another party game mini collection for the Wii, but don’t let that put you off. The Rabbids series has always shared a good deal of critical success in past releases, and I don’t expect that to falter any time soon. The addition of MotionPlus is also entirely intriguing and could lend game play even further room for innovation.

Raving Rabbids Travel in Time is scheduled for release on the Wii on November 11, 2010. For more information, visit www.rabbids.com/travel-in-time
