We recently reported on Nordic Games‘ sequel to the Wii-based karaoke game We Sing with We Sing Encore (due out August 13th). Now however, it’s been revealed that they are set to release another game that focuses solely on, wait for it…Robbie Williams!
Yes, We Sing Robbie Williams is set to include a total of 25 tracks that span Williams’ “20 years in the business”. The biggest selling solo artist in the UK, Robbie has now sold over 57 million albums no less, “this is a huge deal for Nordic Games and a real first in the gaming world”, so says Nik Blower, marketing director at Nordic Games Sales. Rafaell McDonnell from EMI Music has also expressed his feelings on the move, “we are really proud to offer the opportunity for all of Robbie’s fans to get the chance to sing along to their favourite hits with this new and exciting game”.
25 tracks hardly seems all that impressive for the moment, although the full tracklisting is still yet to be confirmed. I’m no fan of Robbie myself, but if Nordic are intent on delivering on their promises, they will have to include some major hits for the set of 25 to really justify the cost of a full game. No doubt it’ll be a hit for the casual market and mums alike around the country upon release in time for the holiday season, We Sing Robbie Williams coincides with Robbie’s “definitive” Greatest Hits album entitled In And Out of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010.
We Sing Robbie Williams will be available exclusively for the Wii in October 2010. In And Out of Consciousness is also released in October.

Is it not a bit short sighted of both Nordic and EMI to release tracks of the “biggest selling artist in the UK” and only make it available on the Wii?
Surely this would of been a better exclusive for Sing Star? Seeing as Take That have already released their songs on that format.
