If you’re on your way to Party in the Park this year and don’t feel like soaking in the rays and partying with the 70,000 strong crowd to the likes of Dizee Rascal, Basshunter and The Hoosiers, then you’re crazy…
But if you really feel the need for something different, how about popping off to Nordic Games and The Hut.com‘s marquee that will provide the spot for players to try out debuting game We Sing Encore – the follow up to last year’s We Sing before its July release. As Nik Blower – sales and marketing director at Nordic Games – highlights “Party in the Park is a great day out for all the family and our involvement with We Sing Encore couldn’t come at a better time or place. We can’t wait to see people’s reactions when they try out the game”.
Casual karaoke-style games may come along all too often to get overly-excited for this announcement, but nevertheless, Encore offers owners of the Wii an experience in favourable comparison to those offered by Microsoft’s Lips and Sony’s Singstar. The full game will feature 40 songs – the majority of which will also play the original video in the background – from the likes of Coldplay, Lady Gaga and Plain White T’s, as well as singing lesson tutorials and a ‘real karaoke’ mode for harder challenges.

I guessfor Wii only owners it’s a decent alternative to Disney’s Sing It. Appears to be a half decent catalogue of tracks. I wonder if it’ll be at the Godiva Festival this weekend?
