Illfonic Release More Screens of Nexuiz

September 10th, 2010 by

We were lucky enough to get the chance to interview the developer of Nexuiz, the arena-based, downloadable FPS earlier this year. And while we aren’t fully taken aback by the details of modes that are set to feature (Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag two of the announced), then we’ll just say that the newly released screenshots have us highly anticipating the release.

Nexuiz follows on from Battlefield 1943 and Blacklight: Tango Down at trying to bring sizeable multiplayer offerings on the downloadable platforms of XBLA and PSN, something that still has not taken off to a huge extent, despite the success of, particularly, DICE’s Battlefield 1943, which was the fastest-selling downloadable game to sell over a million copies when released last July.

Nexuiz is set to feature fully competitive online leaderboards, as well as added social features to boost the profile of the game on social networks. Added game modes, maps and models will also be available post-launch as additional DLC. Now, admire the screens.
