Nice article. Ive been here, i lost all touch with gaming between the twighlight ps1 years and the missed the entire ps2 generation, an i fully appreciate this was judged the best of the Sony generation. I got back into gaminhg only in the last three years following the birth of my son.

Having had this break, i found upon rturning that my passion for gaming underwent a major refeulling, perhaps owing to the leap in visual and technical attriutes from ps1 to ps3, but now i find my passion is continuously growing, it continues to pffer me a release from the stresses of work and a bit of, 'me' time once my son and wife are in bed.

I find it a true passion now, having replaced alot of the things i was able to do alone, or just with my wife, and groups like the MLG crew make me feel accepted for having this love of gaming and i appreciate the work all you guys do.

But,., i dont know if id be this passionate if i hadn't had that break...

Dude, take a step back.

I gave up gaming for a good 12 months recently. AAA releases were boring me, and occasionally making me angry. I gave away my backlog and entire console and gaming collection.

Then I got more into cycling, baking and other little projects, and stepped away from gaming entirely.

Then, slowly but surely, it crept back into my life, mostly the fault of Nintendo and Capcom.

I still have no desire to play all the new releases like I used to. I don't feel that I need to be part of any conversation. I just dip into the niche releases that I know I like to play and that's the extent of it.

I liken it to meat, beer or cake. I tend to eat and drink less these days, but I make sure that what I am devouring is of the highest quality. Life is precious, and we shouldn't be wasting it!

Just played through this on the PS3, and I absolutely loved it. what a fantastic, underrated game. So much character assigned to a little coloured rectangle.

Shame really. I was hoping this would improve on the first and fix some of its bugs. It was not to be unfortunately. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be "rushed"

As I suspected, I don't think there's enough here to warrant a purchase. I enjoyed the first one, it's possibly one of only a few games to make me scared for my virtual life when those fuckers run at you panting from a distance in the city. Disappointing that this offers nothing new to the franchise, I may have picked it up if it improved on things
