Rather like the forum support post.
This will also be pinned and locked, with extras being added to it.
Mostly it should be able to link to the How To… section of the web site.
Will detail the hows and whys of blog posting

So who approves the blogs. I've got one sitting there awaiting such an approval. It's called "short back and sides please"

This goes through Daren and myself.
In the short term, we're going to be quite nit picky over blog posts. But we're assuming in time people will see the sort of quality we're after.
There are actually 2 submitted at the moment which we'll take a look through tonight.
For everyone else – don't forget to keep an eye on the front page sidebars to see any new posts that hit (thats if you're not subscribing)

Surely the whole point of blogging is to talk about whatever you want. Isn't there going to be a seperate section for everyones blogs as opposed to the article type ones on the front page?

Daren and I did talk a lot about what we wanted from the blogging section of the site.
We could have perhaps separated official MLG blogs posts and user blogs posts – but we wanted the blogging tool to be used by people who are keen on getting eyes over their work. User blogs in theory would only be seen by fellow users here. This way, if you want to have a stab at blogging you can and you have a guaranteed audience. The downside for users means that everything has to be up to a certain standard.
Remember we have a hell of a lot more people reading the work being published through this site than just the registered users.

More than twelve readers? Blimey.
Suppose twiiter is our own blogs – perhaps Blogs For The Site may be better description for new comers?

Do we have a preferred/maximum length for articles?
I'm wary of not having enough to say or rambling on for too long and labouring the point I'm trying to make.
