Is there any option in the Smart Youtube plugin to resize the video? I would like the video to fill the column (which is about 625 px I think) But seeing as the embedding option doesn't work, I can't see a way to change the width size from the default 425 px.
Thanks.
Edit:
After doing a bit of google searching, it seems that only an admin is able to resize videos is the plug-in settings page. I am not sure if it resizes all the videos that are added to the blog though. The sizes I would use to maintain the ratio is 625px x 506px if it helps.

You can can't you?
There is an option in the embedding media button, you can add your own dimensions.
Testing:
Normal
Little:
Massive: using 625x506

Sorry, should have specified. The resizing option is for the blog posts, not the forum posts.

Big hairy ball sacks of doom.
I have spentr the best part of 2 hours this morning trying to embed a video in the blog section. It shows the preview in the insert dialog box, it shows the pink frame in the blog post, I press save draft, I press preview and the buggers gone!
I'm using the url from Youtube the same as forum posts but it wont play ball. I even swapped to Firefox after Xero said that Chrome was playing silly buggers with wordpress.
What an I doing wrong guys?
This isn't the video!

I had a video do that once, but I posted it rather than preview it. When I closed Chrome and restarted it the video was there.

Have you followed the instructions detailed on the How To… page?
Different behaviour compared to embedding in forums, but still very simple.

I actually prefer using just the embedding code, it gives the user much more control over the playback options.
