This kind of ties in to where I was going with the Janitor For Life tag. I still think of Hugo as one of us, but the poor bugger now has to straighten up the chairs (move threads to the right boards) and sweep up (spam patrol) and throw sawdust on the puke (moderate posts). It's not about segregating, but about recognising that he has authority to step in and tell me I'm being a dick if he has to (don't worry Hugo, I won't take it personally).
This obviously applies to whoever else is a (wanky title) Community Manager, I just can't think who that is right now.
Maybe phizzy went a bit too far with Tech Lord, but he could fairly claim a handyman badge, since he's obviously able to step up and plane an eighth off the bottom of a sticky door when required.
Keep him away from children and small animals obviously…

From reading all these posts I really can not see what all the fuss is about.
These are not some Nazi dictators, these are our friends. Getting so caught up in a title is a bit pissy dont you think?
In fact my old tag on MLG 1.0 used to say Balls Deep, and no one said anything.
As far as "the powers" go, these are the most abled trusted bodies for the job.

I actually misposted that last night. I thought I was on facebook. Actually I might have well have been with all the bullshit and pissing and moaning going on between this thread and other posts complaining about the look and feel of the new site and how they prefer the old boards. I don't know any forum or site that doesn't have it's moderators be whatever name they come under so why should this forum be any different. I'm sure Phizzy, Hugo and Adamski won't let a couple of extra powers go to there heads and start overly moderating people's posts. And fuck it, even if they do, they have been given the responsibility by those who own the site and every other user should respect that. Any time in the past where my posts have been modded or deleted I've been given a nice short and to the point PM detailing why and thats been good enough for me. Anyone new to the site who feels segregated because of a few titles is most likely a fuckwit anyway so fuck em. Now enough of this faggotry and lets all just get on and enjoy the new site that the TEAM MEMBERS have worked so hard on for months getting ready for all you moaning bitches to use.
