I think everyone appreciates its early doors with the new site but I thought it would be useful to create a thread where users could have a shout on what they would like to see.
No promises its going to happen this afternoon or any time soon but at least we can see where its going and where we would like it to go.
So here's a list I compiled from the posts so far and its not exhaustive by any stretch of the imagination;
Fix the Thread 'Unread' flags – The little red speech bubbles that don't always clear.
Redecorate the wallpaper – Personally I don't find it offensive but if someone wants to contribute, that's great.
Improve the access for Iphone – If the Wordpress gadget works with the custom site I'm all for it.
Ability to edit your own post – Fixed by Matt this morning

Is there a way of chaging the icons on the forum front end? Like to something game related, i.e controllers or something, just think that would look pretty cool.
Oh and is there a way to make threads with new posts stand out even more (like the old forums where there was an easy to see red icon).

Here´s what I´d like:
- I wanna be able to use more than 1 pic in my signature.
Sucks to have to decide between your 360 card and the PS3 one.
- And you REALLY need a view posts since last visit button.
It´s a fucking pain in the ass to have to open each section to have a look at new posts.
- Avatars…they´re a bit TOO small. May as well not have one. How about a 100×100 size limit?!

There are some built in things I'm going to try out.
I've turned on a "Quick Links" thing on – which should be at the top. Let me know if that does anything useful for you.
I can also select to show X number of new posts at the top of the page – this just tends to get messy though we found during testing

Huh, that drop-down box linking you to new posts is good. Surely that appeases some of these demands!?
Oh and I was trying to push for bigger avatars during testing but I think people either ignored me or didn't read my posts for some other reason. I still think they're too small, can I mess with the size, Matt?

The avatars look much better across the board, but I'm glad they haven't been allowed to too big though as they can look a lot messier that way.

Shame there isnt a multi console card generator out there.
In the meantime I've switched to a more minimal signature which I created on this site here.
There are oodles of images to choose from (no hentai please Phizz!)
Looks a lot cleaner than the large default gamercard images IMO.

That´s way better than only 50px!
Not so keen on the drop-down box as you still need to select/click every new thread separately…
Daren, as for cards…
Raptr have cards for multiple platforms, completely forgot about that.
Nowhere near as nice as the normal PSN and 360 cards though.
And can we have it so the pics can be linked to a page please? (as in 360 profile or whatever)

Forum Titles – Are we going to have amusing personal forum titles like we used to?
All this 'New Member' stuff seems terribly formal.

Although we already have sticky threads in these forums, it could save time if we wrote "Sticky" in front of them.
With fewer topics, I'd imagine there'd be many more sticky threads per topic, so adding sticky to them would make browsing easier.

This is something we wiil continue to review. There is actuall a trigger point when a number of posts is reached where the 'New Member' tag changes.

Also, would it be possible to add a navigation bar to the bottom of the thread in addition to the top one?
This one I mean:
Forum > Gaming section > Bargains
Again, it would make quick browsing easier.

Is it possible to have a written sig as well as a gamer tag, but put the written sig underneath the gamer tag, not to the right of it, otherwise it makes your sig massive if you have a written sig as well.

The signature system to these forums are a little janky aren't they. I do suppose it stops all the shitty sigs showing up all over the place though.
