All this 'New Member' stuff seems terribly formal.
This is something we wiil continue to review. There is actuall a trigger point when a number of posts is reached where the 'New Member' tag changes. 
Does it ever go past anything than just Member? Some humorous ones like you used to have on the old site would be good.
