OK you may have experienced issues or your OCD (like mine) may have been spiked by the occasional anomaly while wandering around our new home. You've probably noticed that the new site is built using Wordpress which is a free publishing platform.
If this sort of thing takes your interest why not take a look at http://wordpress.org/ and have a gander at some of the options, add ons, fixes etc.
Post your suggestions in here and we'll see if they'll fit.

I'd love to see the WPTouch plugin. It's a little addon that re-formats the site for newer mobile devices (primarily iPhone / Android / BlackBerry Storm)
It works really well and is nice and easy to setup

One thing we have to be mindful of is the fact that we're using a custom theme created for MLG, so not everythign will be compatible.
Happy to look into what is suggested – we're still going throug the transition period until the end of the week, then we can look further into the future.

Your main theme should be just fine – it's just a plugin so can be easily activated / deactivated from the wp-admin page if it causes any issues.

Am I able to view more easily from my iphone (and more importantly post without needing to do all the html faffing!)?

Last I checked (less than a week ago), html faffing was still required to post on iThingys.

Only last night, I had the dubious pleasure of using the html editor via my ipod. It was just as much of a bugger as always.

Yeah, wordpress forums in combination with ipod touch/iphone = Fail. 
Hope they add things in the future to make it easier to post from these devices.

I had a play on my iPhone last night and can totally see the frustrations people are having. I'm never ususally too far from a machine to use my phone, but understand many people do.
There are some addition things we can throw into the site to assist with you mobile browsers. Will let you know when we get something sorted.
