My new precious (So bright… so beautiful… ah Precious) finaly arrived this week so thought I would have a bash at an unboxing video.  I wasn't going to post it as I sound a little bit like Lionel Blair with a blocked up nose but then Lionels a pretty sexy guy so thats nothing to be ashamed of.

Really impressed with the machine and highly recomend Alienware to anyone looking to do some serious gaming on the move.  Certainly not the cheapest but very well put together and performance is ridiculously good… far better than my high spec desktop.  I also picked up a Cyborg (get your) R.A.T (out) mouse which I can highly recomend to anyone looking for a good gaming mouse.

If like me you get sexualy aroused at the sight of technical specifications see below.  If your not touching yourself inappropriately by the time you get three lines down your a stronger man than me….

PROCESSOR Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 2820QM (2.30Ghz, 6MB, 4C)

Very nice.. handles Arma II graphics beautifully and that game is very graphically expensive. The screen is a bit small for my tastes though.. 17" minimum for me, apart from that.. very nice indeed.

Yeah I almost got the 17" as its hardly any more money but its bloody gigantinourmous and weighs a ton and I tend to carry mine around quite a bit…. its not quite as emersive for watching the Russian GILF porn so I just tend to plug it into a desktop LCD when I'm at home.

Sorry to resurect a salty old thread from the depths of the swollen flange pit… but I installed an SSD drive (Corsair Force 3 250gb) in the old girl a few weeks ago, if anyone is thinking of going for one thought you may be interested in a few load time comparisons so I did a quick video… Windows 7, battlefield 3 and SWTOR load times.

I have got my Windows boot time down to 15 seconds now which makes me touch myself inappropriately confused
