Hi

On  starting up GOW3 last night I lost my collectables/cog tag progress, my execution achievement progress and any other acheivement progress where I need to do mulitple actions that tick off a list.

 

Reading the Epic forums I was 'lucky' as others have lost all acheivements, medals and been dumped back to level 1.

 

Anyway this is apparently related to logging in or out of XBL/Gamertag whilst GOW3 is in a loading screen.  This is what happened to me.  I have a PIN to connect to XBL and I forgot to log in before I started the game and did it as the campaign was loading.

Thanks for the heads up on this mate. I don't have my Xbox on auto sign in as my son uses it at well so I do sometimes log into XBL while waiting for games to load.

I've just gone back to gears 3 and think I've been affected by this I seem to have lost my story progress achievements not sure about what else.It's very annoying its making me not want to bother playing again. Has anybody found a way of sorting this out.Cheers

I was playing this last night and couldn't progress on chapter five somewhere as I hadn't managed to kill one of the enemies.  It was one of those flying drone gun turret things.  The stupid bastard had got himself stuck behind part of the environment to which I had no access.  Grrrr.

 

I'm rapidly going off of this game.  I wish it had ended just after the Dom episode.  Listening to Marcus saying 'I cannot do that yet' is ridiculous and makes me want to hurt him.

 

I can see him ending up on the pile of video game characters that I used to love, but now despise, along with Nathan Drake.
