Super Cars 2 was correct!
Over to Rob B's stumper. Is it a Ltd Edition cover image?

Nope not Ltd Edition, it did vary by platform though.

Sneaky bugger, I had to view that fullscreen to see the army dude hiding there.
That would be Cannon Fodder.
Try this one on for size:

Nice one, Dash.
Now you have to supply another portion of a game cover for us to guess.

Comix zone, mega drive. Not sure why I remember that. Dashboxers looks familiar but can't quite place it yet

Ok. Some clues. It's 10 years old. It was on the PC. It had turn based combat, very similar to Final Fantasy's ATB. It was very, very funny. One of the characters in your party was in fact a whole planet.
Incidentally, the developer had already released a very critically acclaimed and much loved game (published by Eidos) that had a major sequel (prequel actually) released on PS3/ PC/ 360 last August…

Well done Mr Bassoon (I always preferred Joss Ackland's spunky backback) You are indeed correct. Glad you agree – a forgotten gem. The other game I was on about that developer Ion Storm put out, was of course the original Deus Ex.

Blimey that made my brain hurt. I knew it had Rock in the title and for a moment I thought it may be called Kid Rock!
Anyway a couple of Google searches later and it came to me – Its Chuck Rock.

Awww man – it looks familiar but I can't place it.
The only thing that springs to mind is Joe and Mac but thats likely to be wrong!
