I've finally convinced my younger bro to purchase a 360 this week so he can join in some online loveliness. We reminisced about our gaming past including a rather spectacular rage quit carried out by myself in my early teens which involved me storming out of his bedroom, heading downstairs and throwing the main fuse in the house in a pique of temper. Man those hormones have a lot to answer for.

Anyways, our discussion moved to other games and one in particular that we just couldn't remember the name of. It was a track and field style game either on the snes or ps1 (there's an outside chance it was on the ps2). You could either button mash or if you wanted to get a decent time/distance you could use the advanced technique of pulling out your t shirt, covering your thumb with it and sliding between the two run buttons.

This resulted in far faster times but also many blisters.

Can any of you good folks recall the name of this game to put my Bro and I out of our misery?

International Track and Field perhaps? PS1 Classic.

I often find the rounded edge of a Cricket lighter would get you some real speed. Would shag your pad pretty quick though.
