Hello everyone.

My friend has offered to lend me COD MW3. I was just wondering, as I haven't played MW2 will I be missing anything in the story during the campaign?

I played the first MW and quite enjoyed it. I just haven't been in the right mood for it recently so never picked the other games up. I'm sure I could get MW2 for cheaps and wondered if I should get it before playing MW3.

Well, there is a short intro sequence that sort of sums up the 'story so far' at the begining of MW3….that might be enough for you to grasp the main story arc.

You could also read through the wikipedia page:

BUT…you might get more enjoyment out of MW3 if you play MW2 in so much as you will get to know the characters a little more, and maybe understand some of decisions they make and the way they act in MW3.

You might even be able to find some youtubers that have summarised it all in video form…but again, this will only give you the story so far.

Yup adamski uk is right the only thing is playing the the 3rd modern warfare and not 2 you may get lost in the story line… but its upto you wethere you want to play the 3rd or not really we can only give you our opinion

Cheers guys. I think I'm gonna look out for a copy of MW2 and get that clocked before I hit MW3.

I understand the campaign isn't too long so I'd rather know the background and understand the story if they follow on from each other.

I appreciate the advice and your opinions. smile
