I can see myself playing at least through the intro stories for every class on this.
I'm even thinking of upgrading my PC – it runs, but chugs along at times.

Really enjoying the Bounty Hunter story so far.
My char is beautiful, but deadly. Always out for profit, but has a soft spot for hard luck cases.
Her clients call her Fis'ta, but her enemies don't call her anything…. because they are dead.

My character is on this server. She is called Tamriel and is also a Bounty Hunter (about lvl 18ish).
Bounty Hunter is a great fun to play and the skills you get are brilliant esp some of the rocket based AOEs. The storyline is also brilliant so far. The only issue is the 1st companion that you get Mako. She is really judgemental everytime u do something like shoot someone in cold bold etc. Hopefully the next companion will be more of a badass rather than someone who appears to think BHs and the Girl Guides are the same.

All signed up on the MLG server…. predictably my charachter name is Shatnerzbassoon.
Only a couple of hours in but already really impressed. I had a mad couple of months with WOW a few years ago, put a frightening amount of time into it and took my Mage and Hunter to lvl 80 but then just fell out of love with it overnight. I tried going back when Cataclysm came out but just could'nt bring myself to play it anyomre.
SWTOR has really grabbed me though, I know underneath its the same mechanics but the Bioware story telling really brings it to life.. I feel more like Im playing an RPG and my charachter feels far more individual and organic. In WOW my charachters were just a set of DPS and agro stats but in SWTOR the decisions you make through conversation really seems to affect your charachters development.
Im determined not to get too carried away this time…. I think with WOW it was overkill, playing too long too often meant I was sick of the sights of it after a few months, going to try and enjoy the story and get some fun raiding with friends!
Anyway, will do some leveling over the next few days and hopefuly hook up for some sexy sabre fun

no sign of a guild yet – I guess Uncle Fista is busy with the Christmas festivities, we could form a guild now but I think it would be best to wait until the boss emerges from his turkeyfest before doing anything 
in the meantime – I am lev 14 now with my Juggernaut and I would be more than happy to do Black Talon again with anyone who is interested

there is no way at present of transferring characters to another server – if you want to join the guild you will have to roll a new character – but I suspect most people over time will want to play most if not all 8 classes, so it should not be a problem

I looked at the members so far, saw we were a bit thin on Warriors. Depending on which way some of the bounty hunters go, I may go tank or DPS.
EDIT: Why the feck did I alt-tab the intro cut-scene to write this? Now my bastard client has crashed!

How do I join the Guild… I have been to the registrar and he will only allow me to create a guild not join, do I need an invite?
Enjoying the game, its worrying how similar a lot of the mechanics and structure is to Warcraft knowing how obcessed I got with that game, but the Bioware story telling really adds depth and the Starwars universe they have created is just awesome. Really needs a random dungeon finder… fannying around grouping up for Flashpoints with random jimmys is a bit of a pain.
Also theres a guard on one of the monster protection walls leading to Kaas who has a thick Yorkshire accent! It was litteraly 'By eck petal, goo an tell our youth about these ere monsters and I'll reward thi appen I will''. Very odd.

Yes I assume like other MMOs we are gonna need invites from the guild leader/officers.
The accents are interesting. On Dromund Kaas there is also a character with a very strong Welsh accent. Pretty sure he's called Bryn (Gavin anad Stacey anyone?). Makes a change from Imperials just being posh English people tho. Also heard Scottish and Northern accents. No midlanders or people with south west accents to make Uncle Fista and me and & Antman feel at home tho.
On Nar Shadaa one of the quest givers referred to one of the quest targets as a 'git' honestly what's wrong with 'nerf-herder'? Still must be the first use of the word git in video game history. Which is nice.
