I have never owned a Nintendo DS/Advance or 3DS I do own an original Gameboy that has spent the last 12 Years stuck behind a radiator. This has meant that I have missed out on what was a very unique game. I have even jailbroken my iPod and tried to run emulators to try and get this game but all have failed.

Whilst stumbling around the interwebs today I came across the news that Warner Bros had release "Scribblenauts Remix" for the iOS.

For any of you that don't know scribblenauts is a game that centers around a character (that sounds a lot like a brand of UK coffee) called Maxwell.

Maxwell has to reach a star(ite) that is placed on each level, however in order to get to the star he has to overcome various puzzles/objects that are placed in his way.

In order to achieve the star you are given the ability to conjure up an almost endless supply of customisable  equipment. Through the use of a magic dictionary using both nouns and adjectives.

This could be the use of a ladder to climb a tree (assuming the star is at the top of it). If the ladder is a little mundane how about an axe to chop the tree down? still a little boring how about a flame thrower to burn the tree down. The list goes on with some very humorous scenarios (try "gentlemanly velociraptor").

The puzzles can be approached from a number of ways just try to stay away from the "jetpack" and see what varied solutions you can come up with.

Early levels are by no means difficult and you should fly through these, I'm still yet to play any of the extra levels added to the iOS device but having a tremendous amount of fun.

And of course being an iOS title it offers game centre achivements, cloud based saving, and those social integration bits that you so crave to show how much better you are at a game then them.

Scribblenauts is available in the app store now for £2.99pence

http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app…..d444844790

Give it a try for £3 english pounds it will keep you entertained for at least 3 separate loo breaks thumbs-up.

And let me know if you find a good combination/solution to one of those levels

Regards
