well congrats i guess is order, just be careful as if you have to run Origin with it EA my dislike you for having it, and multi player maybe a little sparse right now but if it works stop reading and start shooting.

Origin is running offline, SP only, will try MP after the release date although I am reading that it is working ok for some people with EU servers.

God this game is good.

i am hearing a lot of people have be torrenting this in which i am guessing there did not read origins (there can scan you all you computer data)  terms but as long you got your copy legit there is noting there can do  just be careful

Aren't gamers meant to support the industry?

Well technically no, by definition they don't have to do anything except play games. Anyway, a pirate can still be a gamer, just a cheapskate one!

This will get torrented just like all other games do, I obviously hope that pirated versions don't work or are riddled with viruses but won't hold my breath.

As for Origins terms re scanning your drive, wasn't that just relating to Origin files (as Steam does) and wasn't even that removed?

Well I don't agree, how can a gamer expect devs to keep making better games if that "gamer" is pirating all his games?

Nope, the Origin EULA which you have to sign up to states they can scan your entire system, Software and Hardware and report back to EA.  EA have banned people in the past using the old EA downloader which ahd a similar clause and you dont just get banned from the one game, but your entire EA account and all associated games!

Just had a quick look on Piratebay and theres currently five BF3 torrents, the one at the top of the list shows fourty thousand people downloading BF3!!! then people complain about devs not using PC as the lead platform and being lumbered by console ports.. is there any suprise!

I dont even understand it, on the basis you cant play online with the pirate version, not even on private servers for BF3 as it only uses the Origin Battlelog browser to search for available servers so the games useless anyway unless all you want to do is play the single player campaign.

Not wishing to be judgemental but if your downloading BF3 through torrent now, you are the reason we PC gamers will be getting a shitty wanky console port when Battlefield 4 comes around… so congrats you x

Thats two different things. You're assuming gamers are like (I'm assuming you) and me, we pay for games and know money goes to devs for future use.

A lot of people think nothing of pirating and probably don't even think of consequences.

Oh and just to claify as a few statements here make me think people might have the wrong end of the stick…..I'm not a pirate, all of my games including this BF3 are legit.

To be honest the EA EULA makes me a little nervous, all of my games are genuine but I use NO CD cracks on most of my games as I use a laptop and dont realy want to carry the discs around everywhere I go.  I would guess NO CD cracks fit EA's criteria for unauthorised software… yet another reason why everything I buy now is on Steam.
