It's a good game but very tough. there are some good community mods that make it look beautiful as well, if that floats your boat. You are a scavenger in the irradiated zone set after the Chernobyl incident, the enemies are tough, and survival plays a huge part – radiation sickness, weapons deteriorate over time and it's quite adult themed.

I think it's on steam for under a fiver, and the follow up as well. It's worth the money, as it's a long game.
