Yakuza 4 wins this one for me hands down.. It's even better than Two Worlds. Two Worlds 2 might change my opinion though, is that allowed?
Two Worlds 2 whilst being a decent game, is nowhere near as good as the original.

Theres Two schools of thought on this one for me as my 'FAVOURITE' game from days gone may not hold the same appeal now.
I Love Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past on the SNES and in my opinion one of the best Zelda Games to date but i think if i went back now and replayed it, it would have lost some of that magic it had when i was playing as a young'un.
So by that admission, i have the fondest memories of LOZ:LTTP but its not something i can revisit and continually play.
But…. Zelda: Ocarina of Time was beter right? I mean… thats the best Zelda ever yeah? Or is it just me…
Thats What i mean though, My time with LOZ:LTTP has fonder memories that OOT but overall OOT was the better adventure its just very objective and down to opinion.
Pumped for OOT in 3D though……ROLL ON JUNE!
You're so wise… Like a minature Buddha covered in hair!

The Amiga was the machine which provided me with my fondest gaming memories.
Another World, Speedball 2, Frontier (Elite 2), Syndicate. All very different but all had me skipping a few days from school to play like in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (but without the girlfriend, stolen sports car and straight to camera monologues). I remember eating lots of McCain's Micro Chips around that time too. Now that's retro.

Speedball? was that the one a bit like rollerball (without the skates) where you get the ball to the other end, remember having hours of fun with that.
One of my favourites though has to be Uridium (thinking that may have been on the C64)

That's the one. A fantastic version has recently been released on iOS and Mac OS X through iTunes and the App Store.
It's a bit of a drunken slapfight between Skies Of Arcadia, Illusion Of Time, and Marvel VS Capcom 3. MvC3 can't take the top spot because it might just be a 3-month obsessive flight of fancy. It's a dirty, dirty tramp that knows how to keep me keen, but not quite loyal. Can't decide between the other two. In a tiebreaker, I suppose Skies would take it for one reason….
You are a sky pirate in a ship that can shoot magic from every cannon. I don't know if you knew, like, but that's REALLY AWESOME.
Check out Illusion Of Time, though. It's literally the best game in the SNES library.

For me it will always be Zelda Ocarina of Time the first time i saw Hyrule Field it just blew me away.I remember seeing a mountain in the distance and thinking the backgrounds look good not realising that i could walk up to it,climb it,go inside and fight monsters.Sat watching the sunrise/set while fishing on Lake Hyrule was another highlight. The music for me has never been bettered and the dungeons were fantastic…just dont mention The water Temple…Now its coming out on the 3DS with enhanced graphics and modes i can hardly wait.

Whenever I think about great games, it normally takes me back to my Amiga. I remember playing gaming greats like Cannon Fodder, Syndicate, Stunt Car Racer and Carrier Command.
Then came the excitement of owning a 486. I managed to get my hands on a shareware copy of Doom and it blew my tiny teenage mind. A couple of years later it was Quake. The ability to use mouse and keyboard was revolutionary (inverse Y axis – you know it makes sense). Then I got my hands on a Voodoo 3dfx card and the difference was amazing. Coloured lighting and shadows!! Holy fuckballs.
Next came Unreal Tournament. Mind utterly blown again. Initially I was playing purely against BOTS as I couldn't afford to fork out for an Internet connection (being a lowly student). It didn't matter though as the bots seemed so realistic. I'd spend hours every evening perfecting my aim and checking my stats.
Unreal Tournament 2004 eventually arrived on the scene (I remember feverishly watching a live webcam of Cliffy B leading up to the release of the demo) and it got me into competitve gaming in a big way. I managed to bump into a couple of like minded individuals and I started a clan. We grew from 6 players to just over 100 in the space of a year. We competed in Jolt and Wireplay leagues for a few years and had a fair bit of success. A few months on and we'd started splitting off into different teams. Counter Strike, Enemy Territory, Battlefield 2, Medal of honour, Soldier of Fortune 2 to name but a few. Our numbers swelled quickly and the clan had taken on a life of it's own! I'm still quite proud of what we achieved. Although ultimately the amount of time I put into it started to effect my personal life and with a heavy heart I had to walk away from it.
I've got fond memories of all these games – but perhaps above all, the thing I value most was the time spent talking nonsense to all the great dudes I used to play games with. It was almost like spending an evening down the pub everynight with your best mates without the associated alcoholism and eventual liver disease.
Not an easy question to answer at all! I think I'm like a lot of you in that I have been gaming for quite a while. I'll do the generational thing as well.
When I had a speccy my favourites were the likes of IK+, Way of the exploding fist etc bur R-Type pissed over everything else. Then I upgraded to an Amiga and my personal favourite on that was Eye of the Beholder. I had a bit of an hiatus til the end cycle of PS1 (Tekken 3 for me) and on PS2 Ico was difficult to get near. Still is for me.
PS3 has delivered some awesome moments too. Uncharted 1 + 2, Red Dead, BorderLands to name a few. Thus far I think my favourite has been Uncharted 2 though.
I didn't answer the question at all, did I. I rambled.

Ah! Impossible…. Street Fighter 2 in its day….. Mortal Kombat too, didn't have a ps1 or any of that gen but loved played International Superstar Soccer, commentary was hilarious the way peter brackley said Cameroon and Nigeria, so computerised! Loved Oblivion on 360 played it religiously, loved Uncharted 1 and 2 but the most impressive last year was Heavy Rain. So maybe I will plump for that.

If favorite means most time spent playing then theres a few contenders. Dune 2 on the amiga 1200, used to play everyday day for weeks on end when I got it, only emerging from my room only for food/toilet/shouting at people for bothering me. Obilivion has shaved 130hrs off my life and I havent even finished it yet. More recently, I just love Mass Effect 2… love. it.

There have been hundreds of classic games i've played over the years from Manic Miner to La Noire.
But the one game that has me replaying it every year is…… Day of the Tentacle

From the current gen, I'd have to go with Dragon Age, which just edges out Oblivion.
From previous gens, I'd say the Wing Commander series. No, not the cr***y piece of s**t they put out on Xbox Live Arcade, the proper 3D versions. Come on EA, you own the rights, pull your finger out and make a proper one.
