Hey all.

Not long now until Battlefield 3 – question is, are any community members interested in a spot of regular gaming? There's a fair few small clan type groups cropping up for leagues and ladders and similar nonsense – I'd be happy to head up an MLG team if there's enough interest? Would have to be mid week though – Mrs Jesus doesn't let me play at weekends. Something to do with the real world.

Let me know anyway. Could be cool.

I'd be up for a regular night, what format is everyone going for… I have pre-ordered PC but may pick up 360 too if everyones going that way?

I've found a fledgling ladder run by a mate that he's currently looking for teams for. The site is at http://www.addictedgamers.co.uk (can't seem to embed the link for some reason) if anyone's interested – bear in mind he's still setting it up though. They're a good bunch on it – probably younger than most of us but good lads. If we can get a team of 4 players (or a minimum of 4 fairly regular players) we could give it a go under the MLG brand maybe.

It's an x-box league so that's the format I'll be rolling with. I'm imagining that BF3 won't run on my netbook anyway!

This one is really gonna split the platforms.

Im running on PC and there's a decent number getting sorted out there already I think. We'll see how it all pans out.

Aw gawd, go on then I shall grab this for PC. After watching the GB quicklook I am sufficiently informed that this game isn't just like the Metro beta map. I like to have more of a role in my FPS games. I am the unsung hero that is the engineer or other support class. When I'm doing my job right, you don't even know that I'm there.

Aye, what we could do with is an admin/mod renaming this thread Battlefield 3 – PC as there are now seperate threads for the console counterparts.

For those PC users out there:

1. Download a free copy of Teamspeak 3, it is a voip program better than skpye/vent that we probably will be using.

2. Add these fine people on battlelog.

hey guys, what it is i used to pc game a lot with a athlon x2 6000 and an 8800gt(died) anyway i have recently fixed this desktop and would love to play it on pc, now there is no option to upgrade and id be happy to play the game on low as it doesnt look half bad..well at least comparing to my ps3 version. what card would you recommend thats pretty cheap(doesnt have to be future proof) to run the game? cheers

Good to hear shat! Have been missing you from our weekly gaming fun . Can't beat the PC version! Just have to put up with battlelog being a tad janky until they sort it.

i got this 9800gt oc as i thought it was an ace price with 1 year warranty https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-170-OK  seems to be fine when looking at some youtube videos of bf3. and i will be able to play all my old steam pc games again like dawn of war 2 mw2 cod4 etc. here is my steam list of games if anybody is interested in looking  .im pretty sure i will be able to have fun and play them at a decent graphical quality again lol  http://steamcommunity.com/id/m…..es?tab=all 

update on this post. im very surprised that my pc version of bfbc2 actually runs smooth on high where last time on my 8800gt which is probably similar was a bit stuttery on medium, they must have made some updates to improve i guess.
