Beers and Gears – Gears of War 2 – Xbox 360
Oil up those lancers, grind your gears and prepare for the
messiest way to end the working week.
Warning – These sessions can go on quite late and have been known to transition
into Texas Holdem grudge matches.
Hook up – Friday evening is generally when you’ll find the
most unpredictable conversations and outcomes, but with so many users it’s easy
to setup an ad hoc game.

Not a problem mate, I dont know what happened during that game, either everyone just dropped their game a little bit or i found the zone for the duration off that match. Couldnt have done it without you, with you on my side I couldnt help but think that we had take that cheering us on from the sidelines lol

Not sure if anyone wants to do a Bears and Gears weekend, but they're repeating what they did a few weeks ago by upping the XP multiplier by 1 for every 1000 fans they get on their official Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/gearsofwar
Currently at about 22,000 fans so that's x22 experience

Hey guys, sorry I just kinda jumped in and jumped out quickly and quietly last night but only had a short window of opportunity before cheese, wine and 24 with the good lady! As you could see, just started playing this as only level 2. Had a couple of random online games before joining you guys last night and I have to say I am very impressed with this game's multiplayer and will be wanting to play more of this – loads of fun and loads of variety it seems.
Currierox, I am still rolling with my XLC's and had problems again with audio. Will have to upgrade to X11's when I can justify the outlay (already bought three games, a USB, a Streetfighter pad and microsoft points this month!)
Once again, mightily impressed with this game – I want more!

Typical. My mother-in-law's birthday on the 3rd, then my Dad's getting married (yet again) on the 4th. My weekend is kind of spoken for.

The multiplier is actually 25x. Who's up for getting a party together that weekend and doing the really rude cheaty thing where you can cheat and get infinite XP, yeah? Malc knows how to do it!
