This sounds good to me, need to find out which version of the game the majority have. I have both and i believe Brother Brown does as well.

If I picked up a preowned copy of either for next to nothing at the weekend – does it require an online activation? And whilst I'm at it, is the same true for GoW3? (Season pass aside) – I.e. have I got to buy them new or pick up a pass through the marketplace?

No season passes for left 4 dead games there is DLC for both of them but doubt we'll touch on that Saturday. No season Pass for gears 3 either so a preowned version of any of these games would suffice.

Traded in a ton of old PS2 games (I haven't even got a PS2 to play them on anymore) and a couple unloved 360 games, and I walked out with L4D and L4D2. Sorted. Bit too early to put the little one to bed unfortunately… Laters..!

I have had L4D 2 for ages but not had the chance to get stuck in…. if I see you all online, count me in!

Post Sherlock it is then. I'll give L4D2 a go – I can't be any worse at it.

I've just realised I have both of these and haven't played them in ages, in fact don't think I've played either much with actual people (instead of AI). Appreciate my online time is irregular (for irregular read fairly rubbish) but would love to be any group's substitute zombie magnet if future L4D retro nights occur…
P.S. Sherlock was most enjoyable, interesting how they adapted the storyline for modern settings….

Picked up L4D2 last week, so I will be up for some zombie killing next Saturday if there is space.

I'll try and get some practice in beforehand. It's for the best. I was a bigger threat to the team than the Horde.

If around at all this Weekend, it'll be Sunday. Parading around local town with a horse skull on a pole on the Saturday (best not to ask…).
However, definitely around a week Sunday as wife is deffo out with friends (how's that for organisation?).
Happy zombie bashing everyone!

Twas good fun. One hard game though. It seems a lot easier on single player. That said, I gave L4D2 a spin earlier. More mental. Likely up for some more next week, if I'm in (likely) or paying Mrs Dashboxer some attention (possible/ probable). Cheers!
