I'm a big fan of this game since the '90's.
It's super funny and super challanging!
I'd love to test if cross-continental play of this game is possible. But even if I can't join, a multi MLG group must be established.
How about 6pm Brittish time this Saturday?
I'll ge sure to be awake and ready to play if there are any takers. And there's lots of easy trophies to be whored. I'm talking to you Cherry! ;-)
if you've never played this game you owe it to yourself to pick it up by Sat. It's cheap and tons of fun!

It's a remake of super fun trivia game from the '90's.

The big gimmick is that the dissembodied voice of host is supper snarky and will rip you to shreds if you suck.

Visualy it's all done with stylized text. That might not sound very visualy striking, but trust me, it's very creative and full of razzle dazzle.

One of the hallmarks of YDKJ is witty adult humor and challanging gameplay. The gamr mechanic is speed based risk/reward. The faster you answer questions the more money you win if you're right or the more money you will lose if you're wrong. Because of the high risk, it sometimes pays to wait for the risk/reward to dwindle or not answer the question at all. Most of the questions are multiple choice but there are some other types of questions as well. For example there's an "Either/Or" category where you might have to choose which word is the name of a Pope or a Britney Speers song. You are then see seven words flash on the screen in rapid succession and you have to press square for Pope or Circle for Britney Spears song. There's also a big bonus for picking a WRONG answer that is associated with the show's sponser. Each game is done in the format of a 20 minute game show which is sponsered by some fictional product like Mr. Fister's Bowling Supplies. So instead of answering questions you know super quickly, you may risk some time searching the other answers for a WRONG that relates to hands or balls or maybe pins.

In a multiplayer game you also get one oppertunity to SCREW your opponant. If you think the other guy doesn't know the answer, you can hit the SCREW button, which forces your opponant to risk taking a guess at the answer.

At the end of the game there's a Lightning round called Jack Attack. The attmospere and music suddenly amps up and you have to try to match words that swiffly fly across the screen. You get $2,000 for every match, but be carefull, it's very easy to get jumpy and start choosing every word that flashes, or pick a word too late and you find yourself pressing the button just as a new word appears, which means you're loosing $2,000 every time you mess up.

The game itself is pretty cheap, $29.95 US…………..

OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see a UK release for this game. AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hearing good things of it – but I don't think the show ever made its way to our shores
