Howdy, Mr Director or rather Mr DIR3CT0R is my usual username for many things including xbox live and the currently resting psn. However my actual name if you'd prefer it is Dan.

I'm a university student studying film and media, aspiring to work in the media…of course. I'm a northerner in good old Sunderland, if you happen to be a mackem hating Geordie don't bother with me… Can't stand fanboys, in gaming or any other form of entertainment smile

My favourite game is Final Fantasy Vii and that is what I am currently playing for about the fifth time. I'm also playing Dead Rising 2 which I'm surprised to say I'm loving and I'm also dipping into mortal kombat. I'm also one for a bit of black ops.

I stumbled upon MLG a couple of months ago and it has been my go to podcast for grinding and the nightmare that is gardening O_O thank you for that!

Anyway sorry for the dry and boring read, I'm not very good at hellos smile

If you could recommend some things to do on here I'm eager to participate, and also I'm dipping into order and chaos right now if I could get a guild/friend request username: Mr_DIR3CT0R Character:
Judge.

Howdo DIR3CTOR Dan and welcome to MLG.

I am a shamed to say that i to have Dead Rising 2 but i am yet to crack the seal on it. ( in my defence it was a impulse buy so i could get my hands on the limited edition figure thingy ma bob. )

Any ways that aside we need to know "What is your biscuit and beverage of choice". The only hint i will give you in answering this question is dont what ever you do mention Jaffa cakes in your answer.

Catch you online matey.

Ah! Why no j.cakes?

In that case I'm one for a rocky on the biscuit side and a bit of whisky on the bev, not a lager man frown

On the dead rising front I've gotta warn you that I feel it may not be to everyone's taste, everyone was telling me to avoid it but I went against the popular opinion. It's arcady, silly yet quite challenging in terms of the timer your on and the bosses.

I think I'm liking it alot partly because I went into it expecting the worst and was surprised. smile

Well there seems to be a few people that think that a jaffa cake is a biscuit. WEIRDO'S wink

Are you a Poker player or a Gears fan on the 360 by any chance thats where most of the action seems to be since PSN went tits up.

Hi Dan

Welcome to MLG Well the good reason not to mention the Jaffa cakes is because they are vile and are clearly the devils work. Anyone who eats them are then tainted and when the day of reckoning comes you will all be burned at the stake wink

On a lighter note FF7 was a really good game but it has been years since i played that bad boy. So what is your favourite film and have you seen the new Thor film if so what did you think ?

Well first of all I play full house poker though usually I'm lone wolf, not a choice. I got my xbox a little late to get into gears fully though I did rock gears 2 for a while, I may get 3.

My favourite films I could go on for a while about but I'll keep it short.
1. Let the right one in
2. Oldboy
3. The Shawshank Redemption
4. Empire Strikes Back.

I have not seen Thor yet I'm afraid though I've been hearing so much good about it. Gonna have to find the time.

Welcome aboard the good ship MLG Mr D!

Nice introduction…if we may probe a little deeper, whats your gaming history been like? A chequered past with hormones getting in the way or non stop gaming since pong on an oscilloscope?

A keen gardener as well as a gamer eh? Well, I’ve been attacking my patio & drive with a pressure washer these past few nights and it has to be the most satisfying jobs I’ve done.

Anything that’s bolted down gets a blast!

Oh, and I must compliment you on your choice of biscuit..the mighty Rocky…for me it’s the caramel variant for me.

And I’m not afraid of being burnt at the stake for my love of Jaffa Cakes.

Is you on Twitter?

[EDIT]

What a cracking film list Mr D….well apart from number 4.

I preume you've seen the other two Chan Park revenge movie….both very powerful imho.

My gaming history? Well if we're not including playing my sisters megadrive/ super nintendo I started with the mighty n64 which I still play.

I moved onto the playstion and onto the xbox and then 360. I also invested in a dsi and a ps3 in the last couple of years. Not as experienced as some people on the forum I'm afraid but I've still gamed a he'll of alot.

I wouldn't say keen Gardner but it has to be done, living across the street from a forest mlg has helped me get through those thousands of leaves so much faster smile

No love for star wars? I havnet seen the other two revenge films though I saw they were on love film, I was going to watch and then…well you know the rest.

I am twatting more and more lately: MR_DIR3CT0R

Bloody iPod spellcheck, I'm afraid I may make the occasional hiccup as this is my browser of choice.

SHIT!

I meant number 3.

BALLS!

You could tell I have a love for Star Wars if you saw the original Engineering drawing of the Death Star I have hanging in my living room! (and the Darth Vader costume in the loft..!)

Lol, sausage sandwich? Is neither an option, I'm all about the red on bacon but sausage doesn't need sauce imo.

I'm sorry, but a ROCKY is not a biscuit either. It's a ROCKY BAR. Not ROCKY BISCUIT.  In my HUMBLE opinion, anything that has it's own individual wrapper is not classed as a biscuit. That includes viscounts and the fancy chocolate numbers in the foxes variety tins. Pfft.

Welcome to MLG smile

Here are some examples of acceptable biscuits;

HOBNOB

CUSTARD CREAM

BORBON

DIGESTIVE

GINGER CRUNCH CREAM

MALTED MILK

^As you can see, none of these come in their own little wrappers… and are CERTAINLY NOT twin-fingers. Jeeze. wink

Doesnt the Oreo come in a bite sized 'Packet/Wrapper' for lunch box consumption and i would certainly say the oreo is a biscuit as it adheres to the "Hard but goes soft" unwritten ruling.

As for the Rocky…………the chocolate to Biscuit ratio is in favour of the Biscuit so……Biscuit WINS!

Disco, you are wrong. They do not come in individual wrappers. Oreo BISCUITS come in snack sized packets for on the move consumption. In a normal circumstace you'd find them in a biscuit packet like any other biscuit. Rocky's are quite obviously BARS. You find them in the biscuit aisle  but they are next to the CLUB BARS, the PENGUIN BARS, the BREAKAWAY BARS. They are not biscuits. angry

Clubs and penguins were also in my consideration :'(

I'm still reckoning you have plain biscuits and chocolate ones but apparently I'm not qualified enough for this opinion to be valid confused

Lol I dunno what to think of people who are regulars at this website but I googled kitkat and found they'd voted it biscuit of the week, I thought the "biscuit and beverage" question was a little odd, these people are something else!

http://www.nicecupofteaandasit…..p3?item=94

EDIT

Damn that website just stabbed mr in the back…

http://www.nicecupofteaandasit…..index.php3

EDIT…again

Ok these people may be a little odd but I love whoever wrote this in there FAQ, hilarious!

Q. Why are 'Nice' biscuits called that?

A. I don't know because they are possibly one of the nastiest biscuits ever, perhaps its sarcasm. Also if you are new to this site and are about to email me saying "Actually its because they are named after the town in the south of France" don't. They're not from there, nobody there has ever heard of them. Hop on an Easyjet flight get yourself down there and ask around, you'll get even blanker Gallic looks than usual. Back when they were invented Huntley and Palmer were knocking out over 450 sorts of biscuits, so naming new sorts of biscuits was probably a matter of just going through the phone book or index in the atlas. Anyhow I don't like them.
