Hello,
I'm ade, from South Wales.
I've been playing games very casually and sporadically ever since getting an Acorn Electron in my teens and usually try (and happily fail) at sports and driving games. I've only ever really had any on-line playing experience with one game – Jack Nicklaus Golf for the PC. So all of this is new to me.
I recently bought an XBox 360 largely seduced by Forza 4 having had a taste of it at a family get together. I am completely bewildered by the whole experience and am only now moving on from gawping at the screen and punching the air when I complete a clean lap in a slow car.
I searched on Forza Car Clubs on Google and your site was the first thing I clicked on. I may even be past mid-life and I'm not sure I am a gamer, but I can aspire to be a mid-life gamer.
I bought a bunch of games cheaply from Amazon to get me started including Red Dead Redemption, Mafia 2, LA Noire, Assassins Creed 2 and some other sports games, and they all look impressive. Apart from Forza the only game I've started playing is Blazin' Angels Squadrons of WWII which is very kind and seems to allow me more time to complete missions after I have failed them a few dozen times (I like that idea).
My XBox 360 name is Hushman which I've used as my user name – I'm Ade and I'm pleased to meet you.
