Just got into the podcast this year via a recommendation, and it's quickly become a fave.  One of very few that marries positivity with good sound quality, instead of the usual snark mixed with the awful sound of saliva replenishment.  Plus I like your accents.

I'm a New York City boy, my job is restoring classic films, and I also make music with my band Lucky Ghost.  I'm a Mass Effect devotee (five times through the first one, one my second run through ME2 with more to come, no doubt) and owner of a 360, PS3, and Wii, to my wife's chagrin.  I just put $50 down towards a 3DS which has me a little bit thrilled.

We don't view tea in the same sense here, clearly, but for my equivalent I'd say a skim, decaf caramel macchiato from Starbucks paired with a brownie, sans nuts.  A gooey, chocolately, un-manly snack.

This week I've been thinking a lot about both TRON movies and why I seem to like them so much more than most people.  It's lonely!]

Gamertag is Slumberland… picked out of my affection for Winsor McCay's Little Nemo comics.

One question – what is the song played before the Twitter section of the 'cast?  I feel like I should know it, but can't place it for some reason.  I want to own it.

Welcome to MLG. You're right about the podcast, no snark and great sound quality its just a pitty they talk a load of toot. Matt Hazard for shame oh-yeah

Anyhow pull up a chair and make yourself at home and we'll say no more about the decaf smile

As for the Twitter music I will call for some assistance……..Matt!!!

Is your band good, a lot of em listen to that loud heavy shite on here, I hope its not that rubbish.

I sincerely hope that by 'restoring classic films' you don't mean 'ruining Star Wars on behalf of George Lucas'.

In which case, Welcome!

Enjoy…

Welcome aboard the good ship MLG Slumberland!

Is Mrs Slumberland not much of a gamer then? I found out that my Missus had been playing Dance Central with the postman the other morning, while I was at work.

“Happy up there”…You know, I was just about to change my ringtone to that tune.

Can you Central Park from where you live?  wink

Yeah I know Spidey but that prick won't return my calls ever since he got that Broadway show.

Thanks for the welcome!

Currently making my way through RDR: Undead Nightmare, Mass Effect 2 (as mentioned), a season with my NY Knicks in NBA 2K11, chipping away at the endless fun of Just Cause 2, and my friend lent me Goldeneye, Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M for Wii.  My PS3 is a nice piece of hardware but it's mostly just a blu-ray player for me, though every year I have a long affair with MLB: The Show in the spring/summer.  I used to be a PES junkie on Sony platforms but ever since FIFA got better and Konami's game went south, I got confused and now only dabble.

Welcome brother.  You sound like me, except live in New York and I've only played ME1 three times.

Are you enjoying Galaxy 2?

I'm having a bit of a New York connection at the moment.  I've always loved Simon and Garfunkel and I'm watching Seasons 1 – 3 of Mad Men at the moment. I love it!

I take it back… there's a bakery near my job that's very popular with European tourists (ever since its inclusion in some travel guide of note) where I'm super fond of the cherry cream scones.

Amazing video, Fista.  Thanks for posting!

Ah, a brother from the big bagel! welcome to the forums!

Used to work in New York for a bit (quite far up on Madison Ave) and miss the place…everything apart from the uber-humid summers stuck in the city!

All the best from across the pond.
