Hello.

After weeks of hovering around this fine forum as a guest I've decided to suck it up and introduce myself…. what's the worst that can happen? It was that recent article in the blog about the Amiga piracy that tipped it.

I'm currently PS3 exclusive due to an incident involving being ill with a fever and a credit card.

I don't play many multiplayer games at the moment due to recent fatherhood (people online just don't seem to want to stop and wait whilst I go and feed a baby) so I now find myself playing lots of RPGs and single player campaigns. Plus I don't have many friends.

My PSN name is: thesuperskill although I'm called supernashwan almost everywhere else (again, the fever was still with me when I set myself up on the PSN).

Biscuit/Beverage combo = Dark Chocolate Digestive and Posh Frothy Coffee

Sauce = Red (although you can get this nice Mayonnaise with mustard from Hellmans)

speak to you soon,

Adam xx

Welcome to good old MLG I'm glad you stopped by. Kids eh, the ruination of all things groovy.
So what's your RPG flavour of choice? I'm guessing it's not one of those big arse JRPG affairs because they are purposely built for a special kind of mad.

Anyhow if you fancy hooking up for some multiplayer you'll find us all a lot more tolerant of interruptions and delays.
Actually if you get to play with Guernica I can pretty much guarantee you'll be the one waiting.

Welcome m8, nice to see you on here :-)

I know just where your coming from with the kids, having 6 and the girlfriend leaves very little time (or energy) for gaming.

But i am getting on a bit more all the time.

Dark choc digestive and posh coffee (not dunked i hope lol)

Only on the xbox myself, but it will be nice to see you in the forums and if your about on twitter feel free to add me (DrunkRogue68)

Anyway, welcome :-)

Thanks for the welcome,

I think if I had to choose, Fallout 3 would be my RPG of choice. It'd be my desert island disc as I'm sure there's plenty left to explore in it. I've also been a big fan of Bioware's output since Knights of the Old Republic…. but I haven't played Dragon Age 2 yet as I've still got plenty to keep me busy with the Origins: Ultimate Edition.

The last jRPG I tried was 'Hyperdimension Neptunia' and I didn't get further than the first hour. I had no idea what was going on. You do get a trophy for pressing 'start' though.

Welcome aboard the good ship MLG Supernashwan!

You'll find plenty of understanding and tollerent PS3 owners on here to keep you company during those long nights of baby feeding, changing, feeding, changing…

I can only speak of the 360 gamers, but it seems to be the same with them…leaving games for feeding, changing, feeding, changing….and they havn't even got kids! wink

I was tempted with Fallout3 the other day…saw it for less than a fiver….but like you, the offspring put a stop to endless hours of gaming.

See you on the boards!

Hi Supernashwan Welcome to MLG

I'm also not much for playing online mainly down to my awful net connection but send a friend request my way if you like. It's good to see what people are playing and how far through they got to see how good games are. Tomato sauce is the king but i know what you mean about fancy mayo i picked up a garlic one and it's great. I think i might give the mustard one a try

I would not have provided such a warm welcome had I realised you hailed from Peterborough.

Surely there should be some rule where all new members are required to state such an impediment on there application?

Nothing good ever came out of Peterborough – FACT!

Except for The Wimpy, The Rose Tattoo parlour, Gamestation is pretty good and you can grab quite a decent upskirt on the escalators in John Lewis but apart from that its horrible!

It's the timeless comic book/second-hand record/drug paraphernalia shop House on the Borderland underneath the Rose Tattoo Parlour that's the true attraction.

and there's plenty to do here… just take a look at the Visit Peterborough website.

I love how you posted that upcoming event a whole week after it'd happened.  You'll get on well here with logic like that as we're all a slightly crazy bunch as you'll find out if you join us PS3ers for multiplayer action.  If you weren't loopy beforehand you deffo will be after you've spent an evening on the mic with Brownie.  Lol.  Thats if Psn ever comes back online.  awesome
