Hey everyone.
Â
Been listening to the podcast for about a month now (I think my first episode was where Daren had just returned from a holiday/business trip and was pretty jet lagged). Needless to say I love the podcast and it gets me through what would otherwise be an incredibly boring couple of hours at work per week, although there are some funny looks aimed at me during the bouts of laughter (the WoW oral sex stories being an example that immediately springs to mind).
My gaming history probably reveals that I don't quite fall into the Midlife part of MLG, but I gained clearance from Matt via Twitter earlier, and he tells me it's a state of mind rather than a number . My first gaming memory was playing on an old console my Dad owned, an Amiga of some sort I think. The route after that is fairly routine: NES/SNES, PS1, N64, XBox, PS2. Handhelds include an original Gameboy, a Game Gear and a DS Lite (well, technically I bought it for the good lady's birthday, but….). Favourite handheld by far though has to be my Nokia N-Gage which I recently repurchased after my old one broke.
The current set-up includes a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and of course….a Dreamcast. Also looking to get a 3DS once they're released (it's an expensive hobby). Never been much into PC gaming other than Football Manager (and not including the year I wasted at Uni whilst addicted to WoW, but we don't talk about that).
Â
Anyway, I'll shut up now. Hopefully I can get involved with some gaming seshes in the near future.
Â
Cheers guys.

Hello my fine fellow me lad, welcome to the forum. Very good to see you was also a fan of the N-Gage, I loved that phone, in fact a very nice intro there that covers all the basics bar one………. Favourite biccy and beverage, my good man. This info is required of all members, think of it as a test to see if you really are mental enough to be allowed to visit the site on a more regular basis. I look forward to reading your response and snubbing you forever more if you say twiglets/Jaffa's are biscuits.

Well hello and welcome to M.L.G.
A couple bits of advice i would like to give you my fellow gaming friend.
 1. Dont let Mat convince you that Mat Hazard is a good game .( i speak from experience im afraid to say )
 2. Dont lend Az any money for his LCD TV fund and finally.
 3. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT let Cherryscones get behind you in our Red Dead Posse action on saturdays she is deadly with the throwing knife but now she has got a big chopper.
 4. Dont ever follow Tridentmorph on Burnout while trying to get to a challenge point.
Jokes aside i hope to see you online soon.

Greetings and welcome to the mlg mate, nice little collection there. Â
Â
Used to love my Dreamcast, really wish I didn't have to sell that system, the beeping VMU's used to do my head in though.Â
Â
Normally I would defend myself against Brother's brutal claims but after my horrific display on Sunday I'll agree, just drive the opposite way if playing Burnout with us, you'll get there sooner.

Welcome!

Ah! The ill fated Amiga CD32. I remember lusting over pictures of that when I was a lad (when I wasn't lusting over the lingerie section in the Littlewoods catalogue).

Hi Nicko and welcome to the forum and hopefully a game or two on the PS3 sometimes with our Posse weekends. Although by rights I am a little offended that you only said Hi to the Gents in your Topic Subject so I reckon you deffo need a good roughing up if you join us coz that'll make me feel better lmao.  There are a few other females on Mlg you know, its not just blokes who are obsessed by gaming.

Biscuit and beverage…
Â
For the biscuit I'll have to go for a classic choccy bourbon, although if I'm feeling exotic I do love a nice Oreo.
Favourite beverage is a good old cup of tea. Milk and two sugars please.
Â
What am I playing at the moment hmm…I tend to rent most of my games, so I'm pretty much always working through something during the week. For the 360 I'm currently trying to work through Singularity, which isn't too bad considering I'd never heard of it until I spotted it on the rental site. Also purchased Dragon Age Origins and the expansion pack for it recently, so trying to get to grips with that. Other than that the usual visitors inside the Xbox include Battlefield BC 2, L4D2, Forza 3, Bioshock 2, Red Dead Redemption, Halo 3. FIFA 10 is pretty much in there every day as well, that or the 2010 World Cup game. Rock Band 1/2 sometimes get an odd play, although I've started to fall out with the music games recently.
For the PS3 I'm currently going through MGS4, after restarting it a few weeks ago. Still working through inFamous which is my favourite game for the system so far. Other than that I mainly use it for PSN titles (I'm very tempted to upgrade to PS Plus this month, due to the MediEvil offer!). Don't have many good online games for the PS3 as (sorry Lofty ) I tend to go for the Xbox version on the big multiplayer titles. I do have Killzone 2 but I was a bit late to the party with that, and missed the majority of PS3 owning friends who were playing it. Also hoping to finish God of War 3, as I got sidetracked by other things during my first attempted play through.
And for the good old Wii. Enjoying Super Mario Galaxy 2 a lot, also just finished Dead Space Extraction via co-op with the good lady. It's a sign of a decent game when even she enjoys playing it We're also trying to complete New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but it quite often ends up in an argument because we're so awful at it . Also love a bit of Wii Sports Resort table tennis of an evening.
Anyway I've blathered on again.
Â
P.S. Speaking of biscuits, does anyone want to start a petition with me to get BN's back?

Â
P.P.S. Sorry about that CherryScones, very ignorant of me. I will gladly accept your PS3 hazing/initiation, although I hope the roughing up is metaphorical and only involves gaming humiliation as opposed to broken legs.

Apology accepted Nicko and yeah of course the "roughing up" applies only in the virtual world of gaming lol. Although if you were into the whole pain/pleasure thing then Im sure I could be persuaded to break your legs for real if your wife agreed ha ha (just kidding)
