I've been listening to the podcast for a while now & thought it was about time I signed up so….here I am doing the whole "Hi, I'm new, be my friend" stuff.

I'm Rob (if you hadn't figured it out yet) I'm just the right side of 30, been gaming for as long as I can remember.

Currently using a PC (X6, 5850, 6GB) and PS3 for my fix but being a family man I'm getting less time than I used to frown

As for games, I'm a big FPS kinda guy with a few different types thrown in, certainly NO sport or racing games though!

Fave game? Probably Fallout 3, I've spent far too many hours on that as well as F:NV

I tend to stick to SP gaming although with BF3 on pre-order and a few plays of the beta I may be changing that soon.

I live in Scotland although born south of the border, currently working as a SAS (no, not the shooty-bang-bang guys) consultant. Bit of a geek, mostly hang around HEXUS if anyone else is into that sort of thing.

So, that's probably about it, hope to settle in here and spout rubbish about games form time to time smile

If you're looking to hook up with like minded souls for a bit of Multiplayer, then you need only ask…stick a post up in the relevant thread and see who joins in.

I guess you'll be getting BF3 on PC? I'm sure there are one or two here that are looking to upgrade their PC's.

Know what you mean about family getting in the way….roll on when the kids have left home eh?

How about this for kids getting in the way.

On the 28th of this fine month weve got Battlefield 3 released , ive got the Wifey in London watching Lenny Kravitz and my son in school and the night off work. The gaming Gods have aligned for me i hear you say? No my son is still on his hollybobs and ive got to sit on the game all day. cry

Welcome to MLG! I've been here only a couple of months myself but have been made to feel right at home by like minded guys and gals. Sure you will too.

Thanks for the welcome guys,

Yep I'm mainly playing on PC, BF3 especially (pre-load begins tomorrow, yay!)

Family life does take control and gaming time slides, if only I'd not got a wife and child I could sit in a dark room eating wotsits and gaming all day (I won't mention the joke about the orange penis…) laugh

Still love to play when I can though smile

PC gamer too eh? Your rig sounds pretty sweet. Hope BF3 is running well for you; I'm stuck at work Saturday so I'm not gonna start till I've got the evening free (Brother Brown I feel your pain!).

But definitely whack up a post about times you're free and I'll see you online for some BF3 in the near future!
