Hey everyone:

38 year old gamer dad here hoping to find a community to settle in and make some online friends. Followed the Twitter feed for awhile, as well as the podcast. I admit I had some reservations at first, but Mantismat assures me that I don't need to speak Scottish or British to join up cool

I'm a dedicated Xbox 360 gamer, but I have a number of retro consoles and still enjoy playing them. Dreamcast, PS, Xbox, SNES, PSP, you name it. I'm a Mac owner and do enjoy the occasional game on it, back in the day I played WoW on it (quit that a LONG time ago!)

I am a diehard Halo fan; playing the heck out of Reach and Halo 3 still and my next purchase is going to be CE Anniversary (and take the next day off!). Besides that I love RPGs, adventure games, puzzle… you name it. Love coop game play, only really enjoy competitive play when I can play on a steady team with people I know. Secretly I want to kick ass on an MLG team, but I think those days are behind me…

I'm hoping to find a reason to keep playing online; the kids in the wild are pretty depressing and it would be nice to meet some folks in the same demographic.

Generally play in the evenings EST, but sometimes I will sneak away during the day and get in some game time; I am fortunate to work from home as a software engineer.

What else… huge movie buff (horror, anime, all kinds really), music, zombies, good scotch…

Now, I consider myself smarter than the average bear, but I don't know what the part about "Favorite Biscuit" is about that I've seen in some of the other posts… So I'll share my favorite beer instead – Magic Hat No. 9, a nice IPA… goes well when chasing a Patron.

Looking forward to meeting you all! GT is Teknophyl.

Howdo Tekno and welcome to MLG my good man.

There is also the question about your favorite sauce ( Brown or Red ) on your Bacon/Sausage sandwich if you are not a Bicuit man. laugh

Would you happen to have a copy of or Dead Island on the 360 for some co-op?

Well, I'm originally from New York City, but live in the South, so here we have sausage gravy biscuits. They're either awesomelly good or horrible, depending on the biscuit.

As for Dead Island, I hope to have a copy by tomorrow evening actually. Trading Black Ops for it with a local guy. Assuming he doesn't flake out, I'll be in zombie heaven for the weekend!

Hey there fellow Yank.

Here's your American MLG Questions:

What's your favorite Hostess snack?

Do you put Honey or Gravy on your Biscuits?
