Hi, my names Lisa, 26 and from Cardiff
Been playing PC games most of my life, started way back in the 90s programming my own games on a Toshiba MSX moved on to 386s then 486s, pentiums, Athlons etc.
I am a masive nerd, I write software for a living so I'm constantly surrounded by tech (I have 3 laptops on my desk as i write this, my office has a stack of android tablets)
Top old PC games: Doom and Heritic, Dark forces, command and conquer, Deus Ex, the monkey island games etc.
Top recent PC games: Oblivion and Morrowind, Tropico and Fallout 3
Top Xbox Games: Halo, Assains creed, prince of Persia games
Recently brought and xbox after moving house (used flatmates before), so I'm playing a lot more console games recently.
I'm currently finishing off Assains Creed: Brotherhood (MUST GET ALL THE THINGS) I'm really looking to skyrym, feeling kinda meh about Rage and was quite disapointed with Human Revolution (didnt even complete it)
I am hopelessly addicted to a bejeweled and Minecraft

Well hello there and welcome to the site…. Dark Forces! with you all the way there, great game.. right up there with Decent and Tie Fighter 
Fellow PC nerdatron here, Ive had (and still have) 8088 to i7 and pretty much everything in between  we have a fairly good PC community through Steam and Battle.net so feel free to give us a shout if you fancy any multiplayer action… pretty much anything shooty shooty, racey racey and Starcraft II.

back to greeting welcome to midlife gamer pull up a seat what a fine history of gaming you have my thoughts on rage leave it a pick up dark souls if you want a good game this month

Second Question What games can we tempted you with to come and play some co-op on your 360?
Currently im enjoying Halo: Reach I would be up for a bit of co-op of that if people are game.
will you be picking up skyrim on pc or console ?
PC, but I will be playing with an xbox controller cause that's how I roll. These games are designed for console, I just brought a beastly graphics card so I need to justify that by buying some more PC games.
I'm thinking about getting into Starcraft 2 but TBH I'm scared I will embarrass myself, I dont have the responses of a teenager gonna fail my micro so bad

For the record I didn't like Deus Ex HR either so that's at least 3 of us (inc Huntervp). Whats the point in being a tooled up badass augmented dude if you have to tip toe past all the fights? Anyway I digress.
I'll add you on XBL. Do you have Gears of War 3? If you do join us for Gears & Beers tonight  If not buy it cos it's great.

I really liked the missions in HR but the deal break was the ridiculous boss fights, if I have to reload 10 or 20 times to get past one encounter im not having fun

Yeah… that is the BEST way to roll..  especially if your are a shadow hugging thief… or a rage attracting hammer slinger… or a bolt shooting wizard. Me… its the first one… backstab!
