Hi there everyone, i'm new here (obviously) and was brought here by my friend Currierox. I'm 25 years old, I own pretty much every console going since the 80s and I play/enjoy pretty much any genre going so i'm quite eclectic in my tastes smile My favourite game of all time is a little known Strategy RPG called DragonForce on the Sega Saturn, I highly recommend this game to anyone into RPGs in general! I hope I get along with everyone here, thanks for having me!

Glad to see you jumped aboard but you missed out the most important information we here at MLG require.

What are your biscuit and beverage of choice?

Red or Brown Sauce?

Whats your gamertag/psn ID?

Hmm… good questions. I guess my biscuit of choice would have to be the versatile hobnob. Cold beverage of choice would be Dr.Pepper.. hot beverage would be hot chocolate (I've got one hell of a sweet tooth). Sauce of choice would normally be BBQ but out of the choices, i'd have to go for ketchup (although i'm still partial to a bit of brown sauce).

Good afternoon and welcome to the forums of Midlife Gamer.

Thanks for introducing yourself, and i have to agree. A cold Dr Pepper can not be beating for a soft drink on a cold day.

Have a good look round the forums and get involved with anything that catches your eye. Let me know if you need anything.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys smile

Caliburn M, definetly check it out if you can pick it up cheap enough somewhere. If you like Strategy games and RPGs then you'll absolutely love it. You get to pick between 8 different kingdoms, each one lead by a different general. There are a number of unit types in the game and you can command up to 100 of that unit per general. Each unit is strong against certain other units and weak against others so no 1 unit type overpowers everything. Each general starts at a different point in the over world map and goes through a different story to the others.

The end of each turn (essentially when enough time has passed) you get to deal with the inner affairs of your empire and troops, like giving medals to troops who have performed well (increases how many troops they can command) and talking to captive generals from other factions, trying to convince them to fight for you. Seriously, I could go on about it all day, amazing game.

Welcome aboard the good ship Midlife Gamer Maelstrom!

So as you are a friend of Mr (and Mrs?) Currierox I'll bet you have some tales to tell about him?

(Remember what goes around, comes around!)

So, did he get you listening to the Podcast(s) yet?

You can always get involved with the podcasts, be it the Sexy Quiz (submit your questions to Matt or Daren) or the Game of the month (look out on the forums for January's game of the month).

Finally, do you use twitter at all?

Hahah, yes, I am a friend of Mr and Mrs Currie smile Although I honestly think they probably have more embarrassing stories to tell about me than I do about them. He has indeed got me listening to the podcasts, i'm listening to some while i'm playing a bit of Minecraft as we speak smile I may have to get involved, seems like good fun laugh

I don't use Twitter, just Facebook. Don't know why but i've never really been drawn towards Twitter smile Thanks for the welcome!

A little late I know, and although I can't agree with your choice of BBQ sauce I would still like to give you a big WELCOME.

I suppose the only thing left now is to get you on Twitter
