Afternoon all!
After hearing my friend Phil (or PAiNJUNKiE666 as he's known here) talk about you guys I thought I should take the plunge and register over here.
My name is Matt, I'm 28, from Cumbria and I've been playing games since I can remember going right back to my first system, a Spectrum ZX +2, when I was about 3 years old. It was the one with the tape deck that took about half an hour to load a game and did that squealing noise. Not that it's scarred into my memory or anything.
I'm pretty exclusively an Xbox 360 gamer currently although I do have a PS3 too. Feel free to add me, I'm munkimatt on both. Please add me on Twitter too, I use it a lot and the more conversations I can have over there the better!
Anyway, that's enough from me. If there's anything you want to ask please feel free and I'm very much looking forward to become part of the community here!

Biscuits and drinks are a touchy subject at the minute Brother Brown, thanks to a dramatically increasingly waist line I've placed myself on a diet and workout regime so biscuits are pretty much illegal in my household right now. If you're going to push me for an answer though I'd say that one can't beat a Digestive. It's a classic.
If we're talking drinks, for an every day drink I'll take a strong black coffee with no sugar. For a sweet tooth that needs satisfying I'll have a Vimto. If you're buying me a drink in a bar I'll take a Gin & Tonic with ice and a hefty wedge of lime.

The loading squeals is certainly something that is etched in to the memory of many an aged gamer.
So what games have you been gaming of late? Does one favour solo or group fun and frolics?
(I miss the days when you could’nt walk more than 5 yards without seeing cassette or VHS tape strewn from lamppost to lamppost)
Yeah, early starter! I even remember being stood with my nan looking at one through the window of Menzies on the run up to the Christmas I got it. I can't remember actually playing that much on it except for this Ghostbusters game.
Pretty happy with solo or multiplayer stuff to be honest, I enjoyed L.A. Noire, Batman: Arkham City and Skyrim last year, although I disliked Skyrim quite a lot until something 'clicked' with me in late December. Multiplayer-wise I've been a big fan of the two Left 4 Dead games, I've played the hell out of the Gears series and, despite its many faults, still enjoy the CoD games. I do enjoy going through a co-op campaign with friends, that's one of my favourite gaming moments.

Hello there munkimatt, my 8 bit of choice was the Amstrad CPC 464 with the funky built in tape deck and green screen…mmmmm…..
I definitely agree with you, sharing a gaming experience with friends on co-op really does add an extra dimension to the whole affair, just wish my online time was more regular so I could hook up with the wonderful MLG community more often.
