I've listened to the podcast for about a year now, its a top quality listen and has gotten me back into gaming again after a couple years of dipping into the odd sequel to games I'd gone ball deep with in the past (Halo and Gears). They inspired me to get and complete Assassins Creed Brotherhood – quality.
I decided to join the community when I finally pulled my finger out and bought Demon's Souls. It. Is. Brilliant. But my word, it's not an easy game. I'd heard Daren and Matt talking about it lovingly but it was only when I needed a piss during the first encounter with the blue knight (not sure about the cause and effect nature of this incident) that I fully appreciated the lack of a pause button. Its not for the faint bladdered as it turns out.
At the moment I basically fanny about on a level (1-1 and 2-1) and get about a thousand souls before running back to the nexus like Alan Partridge when confronted with Jed Maxwell. I thought I could throw myself on the mercy of the MLG forum for some tips to help me get beyond fear and really start to enjoy it? Especially as the sequel is on the horizon and I've been reading up on that and it sounds awesome.
Incidentally, my name is Ben and I'm into coffee and macaroons at the minute.
