Hi there – I'm Skuhtu

I'm not much of a forum poster but am thinking that i'd like to be more involved with a wider community with the things that i love – games.

I'm old. well old-ish. old enough to remember pong on a black and white television and thinking – wow. Well actually i'm from Australia and this was only a few years ago. It's only since i moved to live in Scotland that i realised that the computer game industry was a little more advanced now days.

I play a 360, computer PSP, gameboy when i get the time, and am currently playing BulletStorm on the PC

Biscuits: Tim Tams (originals – none of these namby pamby varients they make these days )

Bevvie: Aussie – Boags, Scotland – Deuchars IPA

A Hoy-Hoy Skuhtu!

Welcome to the best forum on the internet – No, seriously, it is.

Come on in and make yourself confortable.  Take a look around – there is loads of people in the same boat as yourself (kids round their ankles).

Moving to Scotland to Austraila – Some would question if that was a wise move. Could i be nosey and ask why? Where abouts in Austraila where you from. I travelled there for a year and its an amazing place.

So what kinda games float your boat? Have a good browse through the threads, i am sure you'll find something that 'pings' with you.

Gimme a shout (PM) if you need anything.

Baron!

Welcome along my good man,

Not to worry about not being much of a poster, just chip in where you feel comfortable.

BUT if your looking to find some likeminded people to scratch your gaming itch with, you found the right place. Make sure you check out of the Multiplayer Meeting place section of the forum.

Were always looking for Fresh Me….i mean newcomerswink

Hope you like what you see and like Baron said we are here to help so feel free to give us a nod laugh

You're so wise… Like a minature Buddha covered in hair!

Welcome abord the good ship MLG skuhtu!

Not a bad bunch of skallywags we have here, so getting involved is going to be plain sailing.

Just on the cusp of 20K Gamer score too I see….not far to go.

Oh and a BattleField Bad COmpany 2 player I see too….do you get to play much of that?

You could do worse than send a Friend Request out to the Gamer Tag "amidlifegamer" on your 360.

It might sit pending, but at least you'll be able to view 'its' friends list and see what much of the MLG community is up to.

Avast Yee!

cheers people!

Baron, I'm originally from North Queensland near Cairns but spent 12 years in Brisbane. I've been in Edinburgh since mid 2006 and moved for fun, experience and a Lady. I'm an IT type of guy so work's not too hard to find. Gets RIGHT in the road of the gaming though! grrrrrrr.

Currently i'm playing Bulletstorm and The Witcher on the PC and NFS:HP on the xbox, with a wee bit of BC2 when I can get to it. Cool adamski – i'll see if i can find you on live.

Also Drunkrogue Tim Tams are like a better Penguin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Tam from Oz. you can get them here in some Sainsbury's. mmmmmmmm, think i better go for drive.

Ha ha pushchairs on the sofa will be the least of your worries hun.  Lol.  I'll not spoil it for you though.  But a word of warning make sure you keep your best make up out of reach and also tubs of chocolate and anything else messy enough to colour the walls in with.  Ha ha.   Its all fun and games with kids in the house,  anything goes………on anything.   Good luck!  rofl

Yes BLoD – the only game austrailia is allowed to actually have is Animal Crossing – (but even the city rape scene is completely edited out)…so i was amazed to come here and find my xbox was usable to play games instead of making sure my important papers weren't blown about by the wind. I love the UK!
