Hi all.
Been listening to the podcast for a while now, so figured it was time I joined the forum.
Gaming history is ZX Spectrum, Commodore Amiga, 3DO, PC, Playstation 2 (got sick of constantly upgrading my PC), then back to PC for a bit after a friend got me in to Everquest. Finally escaped the clutches of MMOs after purchasing an Xbox 360 and a copy of Oblivion – I guess that makes it the MMO equivalent of a nicotine patch :-)
Xbox 360 is my main gaming machine now, though I did also get a PS3 a couple of years back (mostly used for BluRay).
Favourite games are RPGs such as Dragon Age, Mass Effect and Elder Scrolls. Also love open world action games like GTA, Red Dead Redemption and Assassins Creed.
If I'm the mood for a bit of a multi player frag fest, then Halo Reach is my current goto game, and for racing, Forza 3.
Now the important stuff…
Biscuit – Fig Rolls. Figs are fruit after all, so one of your 5 a day ;-)
Drink – Tea. Sorry, what can I say, I'm old and boring.

Don't do yourself down tea is a very respectable fave drink and it falls to me to as on your sausage sandwich do you prefer righteous red sause, dirty brown or naked as the day it was cooked

Welcome along good buddy,
Hope you enjoy the stay but look out for some of the local's who have a Ferocious opinion when it comes down to biscuits………Which is a little odd for a gaming forum.
If your looking for some peeps to get your game on with though it maybe worth taking a looksie at the Offical Midlife gamer GT "amidlifegamer"

Yes, one the original rubber key versions, I think it would have been '83 I got it (still got it, and it actually still works, sort of). First games I had were Manic Miner, Penetrator and some naff golf game that came with it. My favourite game though was Black Crystal, absolute classic.

Hello gorgeous, well I see your still trying it on with everyone, good for you, womens rights an what not.
An Cherry, I think i've just had what can only be described as my midlife crysis, everyones re assured me that i've come out the other side a better person (well specifically me). An yeah im now standing tall and facing the world again, admittedly through media format first.
Ive now got a good tan, i've shaved my testicles and im getting a big tattoo on me back, tomorrow.

Yes thats right Cherry Im now a deep mahogany. I've also found my self a slutty glamour model girlfriend called Lambrini who applies the tan onto my ample pectorals (I've been working out).
Yes lifes pretty sweet at the moment, I've also managed to knock five tenths of a second off my personal best for the one hundred metres, which Im obviously putting down to the lack of hair on and around my testicles.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, which is code for, im now a bloody bloke.

Ooops sorry David Dickinson lookalike I obviously hit a raw nerve there. Ha ha. Yeah I must say those stats are pretty impressive if true but I bet you can't do a handstand though with your head off the floor and without a cushion or go higher than the bar on a swing. Then I'd be a little more impressed. Lol.

Black Crystal and Everquest are amongst my favourites as well. If you also love Ultima there is a fair chance we were separated at birth! Altho on second thoughts fig rolls are the spawn of satan so probably not.
