Just wanted to say how awesome i think the podcast is.
Ive been listening to all types of podcasts over the last few years. (Mainly gaming and Lost podcasts, sad but true)
and after stumbling over the midlife gamer podcast on itunes, i havent stopped listening since. In fact its the podcast i look forward to listening to the most. Both of you very very funny. Very honnest about games and you really help my working day go so much quicker.
Its great to hear im not the only one that can go back further than the SNES and Mega Drive and talk about good games from "the good old days" i.e Atari, Commodore 64, Spectrum, to name just a few. And hearing 2 "local" accents is a lot more soothing on my ears than over excited ranting Yanks waffling on about how great Madden is !!
Anyway…Please… keep up the good work. Your doing a brilliant job !
Going balls deep now into Assassins Creed 2 so speak to you soon !

Fellow Midlander here…and the local dulcet tones of Mat and Daren are how I got hooked too.
Spent a few years in Wolves…loved the place…as for Stoubridge, used to enjoy climbing at the leisure centre….in my more 'active days'.
Back to the gaming…ZX Spectrum..aahhh…'Syntax Error'…the stuff of school boy nightmares!
Oh and LOST, I'm just a few episodes away from the end, so if you must mention it, do me the favour of using the 'Spoiler' tool thingy (looks like a smiley with sunglasses..and a warning before becasue the RSS feed reveals Spoilers).

I was half way through Assassin's Creed 2 when i put my 1st post up.
Ive now completed it AND completed Brotherhood now !
Those games are amazing. AC1 wasnt that great, but my god AC2 and Brotherhood were brilliant !
Roll on Assassin's Creed 4 (or will it be AC3 ?)
Now balls deep into Mass Effect 1 and Test Drive Unlimited 2
