Yay! Ex-Game employee! That means you're some teenage girl who went for an interview and blind guessed that a console was a machine for playing video games, right? Or is that just in Aberdeen?
Now we've dispensed with that mockery tell us about other stuff we may or may not mock you for. Gaming history usually goes down well. Preferred Biscuit and Beverage is always popular. Ginger bear/beer/beard could net you some bonus points. Shared views on games are also welcome.
Welcome!

Welcome Richie. There's going to be a few of us at Eurogamer!
Â
There's a chap in my local Game who seems like a pretty decent fellow so they're not all bad!
Â
I've not been down there for a few months so he may have left as well!

Hi Richie
Good to see someone made it out of game alive. Is it as soul destroying as it looks if so has your soul grown back yet ? I have shared some of your pain because i worked for McD's for a while and it is the closest place to hell i have ever been.
Â
Are you exclusively a 360 man or are you dual wielding with a PS3 as well. If not then i wont be much use to you but i'll see you on the boards. However if you are what games are you playing ?

An your a friend of Afterblaster, well done for that. Afterblaster agrees with me that shortbread is a cake so i think you'll find that you now agree too, so now that makes three of us (lets keep that barrel rolling).
Hope to see you on the board's buddy.

shortcake is an very nice, weather it is a cake i'm not sure???  I'm sure there'll be a war over it someday . Tea and hobnobs man i'm afraid. i'm a carpenter so got to go with the flow (of tea) Gaming history…. Own a wonderswan colour, neogeo pocket colour, 2x megadrive2's, 1 megadrive1, mastersystem 2, mega cd, atari 2600, cube, xbox 360, PSP go, DSI, wii, dreamcast, pc and my little baby PS3. Also got a GP2x if anyone had herd of it too… emulates retro consoles and runs MAME (arcade emulator)
Â
You can firmly say i'm a retro games kinda bloke.  As for halo I'm not much of a fan, I like it but it's not the best game in my opinion. I'm a PS3 fan boy i'm afraid. just couldnt get my sigiture as my ps3 tag. GAME was along time ago! 1st started working there when it was EB.
Â
Looking for advise as far as eurogamer is concerned. Not not of it on earls court web page as i wanted to book parking, and i'm fairly sure it is but is it in the congestion zone?

Hello Mr. Dee, a GP2x owner, I love you already, I've only got the lowly GP32 Blu myself, but it's still a wonderful handheld, that brings me hours of retro and homebrew pleasure, I love the Super Smash Brothers game on there with characters from Marvel vs Streetfighter and numerous other characters. Â Please enlighten us with your PS3 gamer ID.

you can get that gas mask fillter out aswell if your going up there! The GP32 is better in many ways. i brought some of the cheap Asda batteries for my gp2x and it swollowed them in 2mins. Not about 2mins ish, I mean 120secs literaly. Wouldnt mind having a look at the pandora though. Looks a good bit of kit. And although its a lot of hassle sorting emulators and roms out its more than worth the time. Who wouldnt wana play Home Alone 1 on the megadrive?
Â
P.S VERY MUCH NOT AN HALO FANBOY. Spent many long hours convincing "friends" to get PS3's and now all they wana play on is Playstation home!

Oooooooh me me me!
Â
The GP32 Blu battery life isn't the greatest either, especially if you overclock it to 133 mhz, last's about an hour, otherwise you normally get about 2-3 hours, not brilliant by any means, but better than 2 mins, I still want a GP2X though, as it takes SD cards that hold a lot more than the Smartmedia cards the GP32 takes, they only hold 256 meg maximum, and you can connect the GP2X to the TV I believe, I'm also tempted to get a Pandora at some point, but it would mean all my homebrew collection and stuff would have to be restarted again.Â
