Barley here, Living in North London and juggling two kids a stressful job (ain't they all these days?) and a increasingly healthy amount of PS3 gaming.
I started gaming as a little boy on my vic 20 and commodore 64, then got all sega, sony and nintendo consoles as well as the Atari ST and Amiga, game and watch etc….
10 years ago when the first sprog came along I kinda lost my way and spent more time in the games shop buying games then actually playing said games at home. Slowly I have been clawing my way back into gaming as the kids get bigger and actually sleep at night and the miracle of high quality portable gaming.One of the great joys of gaming is playing games with the kids and schooling them in the ways of retro gaming, making sure they are made aware of the classic games that made todays game so great. (and Dogtanian and the Three Muskerhounds)
I found the podcasts by accident after hurting my earholes on some of the more mainstream podcasts and was looking for something that was a bit more tailored to my tastes, I certainly found that.
That's it really, hope to talk to some of you in the very near future. PS3 ID KOP-KING

Right there with you on the juggling home, work and gaming life….but we get it while we can eh?
Good idea about teaching the little ones about the history and background to gaming…I might try that myself…I'm sure there aer a few ancient arcade ports kicking around the XboxLive service (no PS3 for me sir…got shoes for the kids to buy!)…I like showing kids the TV shows I watched when I was their age (Flumps, Bod etc) so letting them play the games (pong?) is a great lesson….and it'll make them appreciate Kinectimals al the more I think…
…not sure if I'll ever sit them down and force them to hand type 5 pages of Basic on a Spectrum Emulator.
Anyway, there are a right royal plethora of PS3ers on here..so HOLD TIGHT….here they come!
And may I be the first PS3 user to welcome you good sir, I'll be throwing a FR your way shortly if that's OK, we have quite a few PS3 guys and gals on here that have regular gaming meets ups, especially if you own RDR (+ Undead Nightmare), Burnout Paradise, or LBP, but we are quite willing to give anything a go if we can find enough players with your game of choice. But before that and most importantly and I'm surprised that dear Adamski didn't pick you up on this, we need to know the one most important crucial thing you've yet to indulge to us…………. What's your favourite biscuit and beverage?

Hi Barley and welcome to the friendliest forum you'll ever join or need Lol. And as for the Undead Nightmare thing thats the main multiplayer game we PS3ers who group up tend to play. So feel free to shoot off some friend requests and join in whenever any of us are playing it. Tends to be mainly weekends if thats any good to you.
