After being shot in the face a few times and fragging a couple of you in a sneaky and dishonerable fashion the other day after being invited to a game of GoW3 I thought I'd register and say hi. I also met a load of you at the Eurogamer as part of rcc/ffj but didn't do anything sneaky or dishonerable I can recall.

About me – Dad of two and professional procrastinator currently playing Gow3, Might and Magic:Clash of Heros and trying to get around to finishing Mass Effect 2. I have completed Plants vs Zombies more than any other game.

I started gaming by befriending kids with Spectrums (I was a kid then too okay) but soon dumped these for the ones with Commodore 64's. My parents did their best and bought me a Commodore Plus 4 which soon meant I had no friends. This trail of adopting the 2nd or failing platform was a theme that's often popped up as my gameing linage continued with the Amiga (Won in the end Atari ST!), the Sega Saturn then the Original Xbox and now the 360.

I love a nice cup of tea and a garibaldi biscuit and Haribo Tangfastics are my favourite sweet although they don't go to well with tea.

My gamertag is Stodgypudding – don't ask why I really have no idea smile

Cheers!

Welcome to the friendliest forum on the web!

Reading your gaming history, it seems that we have many similarities except my parents made the disasterous decision to ask my older sister what computer we should have in the house - the Acorn Electron or the Commodore 64…..the scars still remain.

I'm also a dad of 2, try to keep any gaming out the sight of the v young boys but, rather worryingly, my 1 year old already seems to know his way around an xbox controller…

Ouch – Acorn the educational computer. Man those parents didn't realise what they were doing.

My boys are 4 and 6 and their controller skills surpased those of my wife along time ago. The Xbox has been a superb behaviour tool, they're generally limited to 45 mins after school but if they get three strikes in a day *poof* none. The devastation at times is sad but boy it works.

Apart from the lego games there isn't really much out there for the youngsters frown
