Hi everyone, been listening to the show for a while and though I would take the plunge and try to move from luker to poster.

My favourite games to play probs fall into FPS, RGP, strategy and MMOs with COD, Skyim, Fallout, Starcraft and Assassins Creed the recent favourites.

I would like to say I am a reformed WOW addict and having quit only to take it back up again several times- I am not looking forward to what SWTOR is going to do to my social life.

Always keen to hear about any games that may have flown under the radar or looking to go back and pick up games cheap later – looking at you Dead Island and Deus Ex.

Why hello there Waveflare!

Welcome to probably the best forum IN THE WORLD. And that's down to the community and topics discussed, so get involved.

Have a good look around, get into the thick of things. There are community gaming nights and community games that we all play at the same time and give our opinions/reviews about.

Sit back and just put your feet up… BUT, before you do. Favourite Biscuit and Beverage of choice?

Welcome aboard the good ship Midlife Gamer waveflare!

Nowt wrong with picking up games that are now 'affordable'…I never seem to be able to contribute to the "Game of the Year 20XX" as I'm always 12 months behind…if I did buy games on day of release, my kids wouldn't have any shoes.

Anyway….aside from all that…what systems are you playing on? I'm guessing PC is a big part, but how about the consoles?

(Stick your twitter handle in your profile…you might pick up the odd follower from here too)

Welcome Waveflare.

Wows damn tough to quit but I think I'm finally there, just had a close call with Eve but have resisted the urge to resubsribe so far. Can't afford SWTOR myself but looks like lots of folks here playing it, will wait for it to go f2p and play DDO and LOTRO until then.

Affordable games for the win, though buying new games then selling while price is good then using the money for the next new game is working well for me.

Lots of 'older' (like six months old) games are now so cheap even new. Deus EX can be got for about 15 quid new most places and is well worth the time.

I know its not old but on the recommendation of the Podcast I picked up Saints Row the Third new for 25 quid at my local asda which is pretty sweet.

Spent most of last night as a muscle bound woman with big tits and loads of tattoos wandering around in my pants punching hobos. (I think I should have made the tits smaller, they wobble too much)
