Greetings all.

Listened to the podcast for a while, although not really been gaming but with new shiny's under the TV I now have a reason to join the forum.

I'm 37 and been gaming ever since being blessed with a Vic-20 way back when – I remember my dad typing in code for games that came in magazines, they never seemed to work mind you, pity I can't go back and time and do a Nelson 'ha-ha!' as he types 'Run', gets error message and curses loudly – and plugging in a Gorf cartridge at the back seems to be memorable. Then ZX-Spectrum, Amiga, Sega Master System, SNES, N64, basically every console up to the x-box, and PC.

Then I got married (happiest day of my life! – the missus tends to stalk me online), children, and gaming fell by the wayside. Recently got a new telly and wanted a Blu-Ray player so went for a PS3 as the kids a bit older now and have a wee bit of time to myself. Thought 'mmm, this is rather good' and then started hearing reviews of x-box 360 only games so though 'I'm missing out here' so now have both beneath the telly.

Not been buying much games yet, downloaded a lot of XBLA and PSN games and got a few cheap older games, a good thing about being out of the loop for a while.

The bad thing about it is that I now tend to be crap at gaming. I'd say it's all downhill from here but I've probably already reached bottom!

Do you believe that when I started that post I made a conscience point of thinking 'make sure to mention biccies, beverage and sauce' and by the time I came to the bottom it completely left my mind?

I'm not really a biscuit man but if I am I do like biscuits I can manipulate, like Jaffa cakes, eat the edges, then the biscuit, leaving me with the Jaffa, or twix, likewise leaving me with the caramel. For a normal biscuit, eat it as it comes, has to be plain hobnobs.

Beverage, I do like a cup of Earl Grey, sacrilegiously with milk.

Sauce, definitely a brown sauce man with a splash of tabasco if it's on the table.

At the moment I'm playing Deus Ex (came free with the x-box!) and I ordered Dead Island from Amazon so that should be coming imminently.

Gamer tags are norman_c on the PS3 and RotundAndHappy on the xbox (you wouldn't believe how many tags I had rejected until I thought 'anything will do, just give me a name before I lose my mind!&#39.

Think I have my signature up to date now, changed my xbox tag, 800 points is a bleeding liberty but I was annoyed at getting 'Tag Taken' message I took the first nonsense I put in without really thinking about it.

Probably been on the xbox more than the PS3, have to say I prefer the Achievement system on the xbox, not much in the games both look pretty sweet.
