Hi,
Just ran the latest update on PS3 and now can't find BBC iPlayer. Anyone know whats going on? Just MUBI and LOVEFILM showing under tv/video services tab.
cheers,
steam

you just redownload them in that new video icon under tv . iplayer is also new and not a browser version, can play HD programmes

Yeah as the man says. I player, itv player and 4OD are all grouped together now in that new icon. They all redownload when you select them with the new HD updates.

guess i'm being thick as i can't see this anywhere on the xmb. how do i re-download bbc iplayer etc, i can't see an option to do that. As i say in my first post, all i see is mubi and lovefilm under its own tab on the xmb.

There's a thread on the psn forums about this problem.. seems a bit fucked up really… Sony fail again.

Cheers windjunky, few things on their I haven't tried. Will try again this evening, need to get iplayer back urgently to placate my toddler – no octonauts is the end of the world.

Thanks for the link windjunky.
I accessed the video store via the video tab and on returning to the xmb the channels tab appeared with download links for bbc iPlayer, 4OD and ITV.

It has something to do with the system needing to perform a region check to make sure you get the correct TV services for your territory.. why didn't they just add a 'where are you from' button?
Anyway.. Logging into Playstation Home is the easiest way to do this.
