I can't believe it's only a few days away before I hit the streets of London in my hot and uncomfortable Sonic outfit at this years British
10k, I'm running for a charity you may heard of called Special Effect, they were at last years Eurogamer Expo and within munutes of talking to them I fell in love with what they were doing. You can find out more about they do here.
I've already reached my target but if you could add a few pennies here and there I would be really grateful, and I know SE would be too.

At Eurogamer I also really fell in love with the great work they were doing and its been great to see them grow.
I've been following you're training up's and down's over twitter the past few months and know your ready to go balls deep.
Lets put out a call out there though people, charaties like this don't come along often and both Dave and I can vouch for their credibility and hard work.
Look behind the sofa for some spare change and donate it to Sonic here.

I'm really close to doubling my target amount, which is amazing! You make a great point Adamski about those who would love to play but can't the whole team got an amazing letter from a mother whos son has really benifitted from the amazing work SE do, when things get tough on Sunday that will be in my mind.
If anyone is in London the SPecial Effect team will be in the Charuty area of Trafalgar Square with two massive orange SE flags, come and say hello!

And I did it!
What a great day. I managed the 10km in 1:18:34 – which I was really pleased about. I kept the head on for 8 for the 10km, we went through a coupleof underpasses and it just went pitch black for me!
I met some great people and can't wait to take on the 10k again next year, though proably not dressed as Sonic.
The best news is that we have raised over £10,000 for Special effect!
