In 2005, I took £2000 and two weeks off work, and led 40 unknown actors and crew into the wilderness of Newcastle and Gateshead to make a feature film. The end result was 'Time Of Your Life', a 70 minute 'comedy' which five years later sits on a hard drive in a semi-rough cut and temp soundtrack.

I've finally figured out how to upload video to YouTube, which has given me the chance to at least get what I have so far into the public domain. Is it the greatest film ever made? No. It's debatable as to whether it's even watchable. But there bits in it I still like even now (there's outtakes over the end credits, which is always good), and no-one who worked on the film got paid. As a result, I'd really like to try and finish off the film to the stage where I could send it to a festival or competition without worrying about copyright infringement etc, and at least give everybody involved some recognition for it.
Â
I've set up a blog – http://finishmyfilm.wordpress.com – which has the film on. Have a look, see what you think, and if you are, or you know anyone who is, a composer, editor, film critic, millionaire, highly influential superstar, I'd be really grateful if you could get in touch and help out in some way. Even if it's along the lines of 'mate, it's utter shit, don't bother and get on with your life'.

Cheers in advance,
