got me an interview for the council on monday, cleaner 10 hours a week… better than nothing i suppose. hoping the interview will be quite casual cos i have fook all to wear lol. looking at the women who work as cleaners i dont think it will be too bad of an interview.. jk lol

so yea i got the job! called me yesterday to come in for a CRB check and give them some more details. and they offered me two cleaner jobs for 17.5 hours in total which is much better and im sure we will be much better off. i have to go for training on tuesday then wait for the CRB and references to come through.

Well done mate, great news. I suppose having a job is a unnecessary gaming evil, we need them to afford games but they take up the time we could be playing them!
I once went to a sales interview that lasted 90mins where they asked me to talk about my childhood!

yea wasnt too bad. the only real questions she asked was what experience i have in cleaning…..i said none lol.
and she just asked questions like do i have training on buffing machines etc… …. nope.
i basically said i applied for the job as the council offers training and ive worked in similar roles, labouring, warehouse that kinda thing, and im all for physical work. not in them exact words lol. then she goes an asks about colour coding and chemicals and i was like yeah i know a bit from college when i used to work with photography chemicals. i said "yea COSHH , that thing about substances hazardous to health. she seemed impressed though haha. so yes i have a training session tomorrow from 9.30am-12.30pm.
