Matt asked: Is there a MidlifeGamer meet-up or social?
For those asking or wondering: Of course there will be a community meet up for both the Friday and Saturday evenings/nights. Your friendly neighbourhood Community Managers are hard at work right now trying to get the best place for our ever popular nights. Keep your eye out on the Midlife Gamer Community Notices Section for further details once places are booked/sorted.
As people know, the Prince of Wales is our usual Thursday, Friday haunt. This is being organised now. And as for Saturday, wheels are in motion to source a new and bigger venue to suit our growing needs.
Watch this space.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday tickets bought. I'll be doing my usual (unusual) thing of coming for the day on the Friday, driving home and then coming back the next day to stop over on the Saturday night.
Booked a room in Shepherds Bush as I know from last year that I can park the car there quite securely for a reasonable price and the taxi back from the Saturday meetup won't be too excessive.
Just me though this year; (at least at the moment)…my better half, Miss Pibble, is staying at home this year; a combination of not enough PC games last year and tiredness from trawling round the expo being the quoted reasons for her giving it a miss this time.
I should mention she has treated me to the vast majority of the tickets and the room, which is quite frankly fricking awesome!

This years Eurogamer could be one of those once in a generation (console generation) events. I can see the Playstation 4 having a large presence and who knows what microsoft could have announced by then.
I remember last year people queing for hours to have a go on the Wii U (luckliy I knew someone doing PR on the stand and they let me que jump).
This year will be very hardware centric I think, lots of people taking photos of console mockups in plexi glass cases.
as for games I think after E3 there will be alot more new IP's announced for the new hardware.
So I am looking forward to 'it' but I dont know what it is yet….
